This is so well put together. I've been a fan of ES Posthumus for a while now, and this piece goes perfectly with this movie. Especially when Gabriel tells Constantine he's fucked, and the music picks up tempo.
I'm not talkin sh!t here, but you guys spent between a week and a month on mixing someone's video to someone's audio? Other than your own creation? Sounds like you guys are one of the following: Audio Engineers, Audio Editors, Music Supervisors, or Video Editors. Get on it... you have the touch... just make it *yours*
Constatine has good premise, awesome special effects, a montage of great moments more than anything, and fun subtle references. And this soundtrack works so well with it!
Is this a film or a series? This video made it look amazing!!
XD I keep seeing Keanu Reeves everywhere too! Ahh! And the blonde angel woman looks like someone from Doctor Who or the Lord of the rings, I can't decide.
awesome movie, i haven't seen the actual movie yet and i have no freakin' idea what I just saw! lol did the guardian angel chick fall from grace or give up her "angelhood" to save someone? I must know!
At 4:07 what happened exactly? Who were those people just standing tehre burning from holy water? were they souls doomed to hell or were they like.. half demons? or true demons? im confused
@RiokaSon they were a bunch of demons that gathered at the building John was headed for. They were waiting for him, and wanted to stop his plan. However, John had planned ahead, and rigged the water valves with blessed water. Have you seen the movie?
There was talk of making a Constantine 2 film, anyone know if they are going to make it?. Can't stop watching this video it's epic better then the trailers the music and video is well edited!.

Arg...religion and people...just the same bull. The bottom line here is that you fear death, you fear non-existance. That's why you must have an afterline filled with joy or with pain. Because you just can't accept the possibility of nothingness.
Well, to me, I'll be glad to zero. To decompose and go back to the place I came, mother Earth. To be recycled and be part of new life forms in due time... I don't need your gods for nothing...
"If you don't believe in God you better start to. The bible is there for a reason. To help you live the right way."exactly what u said. we better start 2 believe in god. sounds kinda like a threat man. And telling ppl to live the RIGHT WAY like how u think ppl should is facism. FACISM is not christian either. If anything u should stop thinkin ppl should be like you. Im calling u out bc u said some stupid shit and im not the only one that got pissed off u should jus admit u were wrong to say that
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
prove that god exists, wat there isnt any,if god exists smite me down hahaah i will smite god himself the stupid moron if he is real, u stupid god lover, trying to make people believe in god ha,we invented religion and politics
Whatever helps you sleep at night. Just remember, you'll die one day; and no matter how you live your life, without an afterlife it means nothing to you; because you won't remember a drop. I assure you though, you will wish you had never been born if you choose such a path.
Eternal suffering would be better than oblivion. Christian's believe there is a life after death, Atheists know there is nothing for them, nothing at all. That is more terrifying for me than any hell, but I know that it is the truth. If I could believe in a religion I would, I'm sure it would make me feel happier. But I can't.
Funny. I'm the exact opposite. I was raised a devout Catholic and followed those teachings as well as I could. I and all my family became ill one day, simultaneously. There was no cause and no treatment. Now our lives are nothing but pain and shame. I have become an unrepentant sinner in order to earn enough money to live since then, and fear I may do myself harm at times. I wish god didn't exist so I could simply cease to be upon death instead of being punished for things I had no control over.
Well then may I ask you why you do believe? It seems to me like people default to believing in God if they haven't thought about it that much, and aren't good christians: they haven't read any of the bible, don't pray, don't go to church, and often 'sin'. People are always surprised when I say I don't believe in God, but when I ask why they DO believe they haven't actually thought about it. I've no problem with religion, but it seems to me that you should have thought about it if you do believe
Certainly. I've read the bible and was headed for the seminary before I became too ill to take that life course. I've given it a great deal of thought and decided that a higher power must exist for all the strange coincidences and experiences both I and my family have had over the years to occur. I'm not sure you would call that God, but it's certainly a powerful non random being. Italso seems that each religion has certain "sins" in common. Crimes referred to as Mala In Se, or inherently evil.
It is not surprising that all these crimes, being abhorrent to human nature, are therefore considered sins by most religions. My definition of sin is a bit more simple: it's basically anything which causes harm to another or detracts from his ability to survive. I cannot say that I believe in a non-interventionist God, because I've seen some miraculous things happen, indicating that He can intervene. I would say however that God intervenes where he will for his own purposes, and must do so-
according to those infallible rules which he's already put in place. Things we call the laws of physics, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, etc. For them to be infallible and absolute they cannot be broken or twisted out of true, even by their creator. It also seems that no amount of prayer and devotion will change him from doing what he wants to do, giving me the suggestion that we think too much of ourselves and are in fact just a diversion to be picked up and put down atwill. That's what I believe
I guess you have thought about it a lot, and I must say that there's nothing I can say to your views that could disprove them. It seems you basically view the universe scientifically and think that God created that universe. Your definition of sin, by the way, is basically the idea put forward by John Stuart Mill, although he views it in terms of crime rather than 'sin', it's also the idea I believe in. The only thing I'm curious about is why you still believe in God, he seems unnecessary in
your view of the universe. Obviously you've had personal experiences that are private to you that have given you this belief, but when I see things that might be seen as being 'miraculous', I look at it as being a coincidence, and balanced against all the highly improbably bad things that happen as well as the good things, I think that improbable things just happen occasionally, and they cause good or bad at random. Some people notice the good things and say it is the work of God, and ignore
the bad things. I don't cite 'suffering' as my reason for believing in God, and nor do I 'know' he doesn't exist as the ultimate creator of the scientific universe. It's just that logically I can't see why he would exist, and if there was a creator, why he would be the one from the many religions, whose origins can all be traced back to a certain point, and explained historically. I just don't believe that a religion started 2000 years ago knows the origin of the universe.
Thank you for the opportunity for rational discourse. It's so rare to find these days that I'm quite enjoying it. I'll have to look up this John Stuart Mill as well. If you are willing to listen I will explain a few of my most convincing experiences and explain my theory about God. First of all I suspect that what created the world and us is not the same thing which watches us now. It gets a little "Captain Starchild" as one of my friends put it. But what if man came before God? Many people have
done some amazing things when they believed in themselves. What if the power of that belief, that collective raw emotion were capable of bringing a disembodied consciousness into existence? I know it's a little out there, and this is where my logic falls to pieces as we simply don't know enough about these things to make an educated guess, but my basic suggestion is that man created god out of some sense of need for order. Even though god may essentially be manmade, that does not mean he doesn't
exist. It also does not necessarily mean that he does not judge us upon death, as the vast majority of the populace seem willing to place their ultimate fate into the hands of an unknown quantity. The reason I know that belief can manipulate things without actually touching them is that I grew up in a town in Florida with a huge ethnic diversity. I was raised in the Haitian section, the father of one of my best friends was a Hougan, a good priest essentially. One day he heard of my uncle, who is
a severe epileptic. Keep in mind this uncle lives all the way up in South Carolina and had no knowledge of us save what he was told. The Hougan made an effigy of my uncle based on my description and performed a cleansing ceremony. That was almost 20 years ago, my uncle has not had a seizure since. I am not saying that Voodoo works where nothing else will, I'm suggesting that the power of the Hougan's belief was what did the trick. I'm not trying to convince you or change your beliefs, just share
Well if you do look up John Stuart Mill be prepared for a very long haul. It's in a work called 'On liberty'. Also I think we're taking up too much space on the comments for this video so i've added you as a friend on youtube so we can discuss that way. I'll send you a message later as a proper reply, but I'm busy right now.
I was baptized as a Catholic and indoctrinated since I was old enough to stand. It's not so much a choice as it is recruitment. It was pretty much that or be beaten to death by my dad. After having listened to the same sermon for almost two decades it's a bit difficult to forget. Mind telling me how you became an Athiest?
Well my family was an ancestor believer and then soon became an devoted Catholic and then my step-mother was sick so she wanted to go back to believing in ancestries to heal her so we got converted back to it. But I was never really felt I was in a religion, so I assumed that I'm a Atheist. And since then I notice my ignorance and correct myself every step of the way. So I put my trust into science and nothing more. The weird thing is that I believe that ghosts and alien do exist lol silly me.
Thank you for being honest. believing in things like ghosts and aliens isn't silly as everyone has their own convictions. What you called "delusions" in your earlier post. Everyone has them to some extent, my degree in clinical psychology taught me that. it just so happens that my own delusion is about God, thats all. I dont believe so much as I know, I wish I could belief in the traditional sense as it does tend to bring a cathartic release. In any case I hope you find happiness in ur beliefs.
Well i think youre right about the recruitment, i dont like that but thats the way it is :S u.u May i ask why you listen sermons??? You believe or just because they made you get used to it??? I also was baptized Catholic (but not until I was old). Now Im deist, luckily for me, my parents let me decide what i wanted. They have their own beliefs and i have mine and we get along great. I still dont understand why some people cant accept different ideas. (hehe sorry for butting in :D )
hey dumbass try reading the prophecies in the bible, ten out of every 11 prophevies came true. The last one is the second coming of Jesus to the earth, so that means in the distance future say two years he will be here and you will reget your words as you see his glory
Well, I love the song. It really works well with the theme in Constantine, just simply because many things dealing with such forces usually tend to be EPIC. This song has such a feel to it.
As for the religious debate, I enjoy the Philosiphy of Daoism (makes much more sense), and I regularily attend church for (most of the time) a good community to be in (United Church of Canada). As for forcing beliefs down peoples throats.. it can't be stopped. Someone always wants to be on top. *sigh*
That's not the only reason...that's rediculous that you think the bible is only here to make good movies and fairytales. It's not a fairytale book it's history and the future. It says what has happened and what will happen in real life, not a fairytale! Why are you people so blind?
dude you should look more into the scientific side of the Bible. there are so many things that don't add up. The Bible said that the Earth was the center of the Universe...well we know that isn't true.
I think it is interesting that you called evan an 'unbeliever'. I don't really care what you call me but every where you go you are stuck, from what I can see you believe that a fairy tale can send you into salvation...
What fairytale? There is no fairytale, it's the word, you should shut up about becuase you apparently don't know what you are talking about so you might as well go home to your enchanted castle. I think you live in a fairytale because you think that everything you know is right.
Look through the past few comments that you yourself posted, go on and look! You are as thick as a brick! Well then again WE are all thick. You are simply believing what you want to believe, and I my self are doing the same. I don't even remember why we are argueing in the first place. And quite honestly, I don't really give a shit.
Yeah, yeah, whatever, the Bible says this, the Koran says that, the Torah says that, Oh! And dont forget all the New religions like Scientology and the Cult of Cthulhu, please give me a break, pretty soon there will be a Religion based on Star Wars that says the Jedi are the way.
You all need lives. Quit being so immature. If you don't believe in God you better start to. The bible is there for a reason. To help you live the right way.
ok so...if the bible makes you live in the right way why did the spanish torture the people because they didn't believe in it???
look it is very good you believe...and is your choice but if other people don't want want to you can't make them or convince them. Believe whatever you want...just don't tell others that they should you are gonna get in trouble or they are going to curse on you and stuff
yeah, I had to learn it the hard way a while ago. The Spanish did that because of their choosing. They refused to fallow the Bible and killed innocent people because they did. They thought it was sick to worship one god and not their's. Just answering your question.
and what if we dont, is god going 2 hurt us bc we question wheather he exists?.... rly christian of u man man "believe what i say or else i will hurt you" that is very similar to terrorism is it not? i will not be threatened or scared into a belief
the bible was written and rewritten for 1000 yrs after the death of christ
and ppl back then didnt write accurate history so then write in favor of their own. And fuck u on living the right way not only do ur opinions reflect terrorism and facism
I'm not telling you to "believe or else I will hurt you" What a rediculous conclusion you've made out of what I've said. You seem to think everything, even religion is based on science. I have my own opinions and frankly I don't care what you think of them. I have chosen my own choice to be a Christian and life is pretty good. I know this isn't very Christian of me but you do sound like you've got a big problem jammed all the way up your @ss, I hope you get it out soon and leave me alone.
All the demons in hell believe in God and they suffer just far more than the souls in Hell. Terrorism and facism are based upon the supposition that the rulers are indeed cruel or have wicked intent. If you think the one who created you would be a facist I find you a fool, if I were a God, I would simply take my mind off of you for a moment; and you would cease to exist, in present past and future, rather than be a facist. So much easier. Take your fear mongering words and shove em up yer arse.

Probably also because most "christians" dont take their religion serious and usually dont even know much about it.
So basically if a movie wants to have christian undertones you just put in some basic demon angels heaven whatever stuff.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. Just remember, you'll die one day; and no matter how you live your life, without an afterlife it means nothing to you; because you won't remember a drop. I assure you though, you will wish you had never been born if you choose such a path.
Necrovex7 3 years ago 2
Eternal suffering would be better than oblivion. Christian's believe there is a life after death, Atheists know there is nothing for them, nothing at all. That is more terrifying for me than any hell, but I know that it is the truth. If I could believe in a religion I would, I'm sure it would make me feel happier. But I can't.
PeteTStarr 3 years ago
I wish god didn't exist so I could simply cease to be upon death instead of being punished for things I had no control over.
chrysophase2003 3 years ago
Well then may I ask you why you do believe? It seems to me like people default to believing in God if they haven't thought about it that much, and aren't good christians: they haven't read any of the bible, don't pray, don't go to church, and often 'sin'. People are always surprised when I say I don't believe in God, but when I ask why they DO believe they haven't actually thought about it. I've no problem with religion, but it seems to me that you should have thought about it if you do believe
PeteTStarr 3 years ago
Crimes referred to as Mala In Se, or inherently evil.
chrysophase2003 3 years ago
It is not surprising that all these crimes, being abhorrent to human nature, are therefore considered sins by most religions. My definition of sin is a bit more simple: it's basically anything which causes harm to another or detracts from his ability to survive. I cannot say that I believe in a non-interventionist God, because I've seen some miraculous things happen, indicating that He can intervene. I would say however that God intervenes where he will for his own purposes, and must do so-
chrysophase2003 3 years ago
according to those infallible rules which he's already put in place. That's what I believe
chrysophase2003 3 years ago
I guess you have thought about it a lot, and I must say that there's nothing I can say to your views that could disprove them. It seems you basically view the universe scientifically and think that God created that universe. Your definition of sin, by the way, is basically the idea put forward by John Stuart Mill, although he views it in terms of crime rather than 'sin', it's also the idea I believe in. The only thing I'm curious about is why you still believe in God, he seems unnecessary in
PeteTStarr 3 years ago
your view of the universe.
PeteTStarr 3 years ago
the bad things.
PeteTStarr 3 years ago
Thank you for the opportunity for rational discourse. It's so rare to find these days that I'm quite enjoying it. I'll have to look up this John Stuart Mill as well. If you are willing to listen I will explain a few of my most convincing experiences and explain my theory about God. First of all I suspect that what created the world and us is not the same thing which watches us now. It gets a little "Captain Starchild" as one of my friends put it. But what if man came before God? Many people have
chrysophase2003 3 years ago
done some amazing things when they believed in themselves. Even though god may essentially be manmade, that does not mean he doesn't
chrysophase2003 3 years ago
One day he heard of my uncle, who is
chrysophase2003 3 years ago
a severe epileptic. I'm not trying to convince you or change your beliefs, just share
chrysophase2003 3 years ago
Well if you do look up John Stuart Mill be prepared for a very long haul. It's in a work called 'On liberty'. Also I think we're taking up too much space on the comments for this video so i've added you as a friend on youtube so we can discuss that way. I'll send you a message later as a proper reply, but I'm busy right now.

God doesn't exist. End of story
No matter how much people devoted their time to go to church and praise a made up omnipotent image is pretty much delusion.
Why did you become a Catholic? In case your wondering I'm a Atheist
ViciousRiceX 3 years ago
I was baptized as a Catholic and indoctrinated since I was old enough to stand. It's not so much a choice as it is recruitment. It was pretty much that or be beaten to death by my dad. After having listened to the same sermon for almost two decades it's a bit difficult to forget. Mind telling me how you became an Athiest?
chrysophase2003 3 years ago
Well my family was an ancestor believer and then soon became an devoted Catholic and then my step-mother was sick so she wanted to go back to believing in ancestries to heal her so we got converted back to it. But I was never really felt I was in a religion, so I assumed that I'm a Atheist. And since then I notice my ignorance and correct myself every step of the way. So I put my trust into science and nothing more. The weird thing is that I believe that ghosts and alien do exist lol silly me.
ViciousRiceX 3 years ago
Thank you for being honest. believing in things like ghosts and aliens isn't silly as everyone has their own convictions. What you called "delusions" in your earlier post. Everyone has them to some extent, my degree in clinical psychology taught me that. it just so happens that my own delusion is about God, thats all. I dont believe so much as I know, I wish I could belief in the traditional sense as it does tend to bring a cathartic release. In any case I hope you find happiness in ur beliefs.
chrysophase2003 3 years ago
Well i think youre right about the recruitment, i dont like that but thats the way it is :S u.u May i ask why you listen sermons??? You believe or just because they made you get used to it??? I also was baptized Catholic (but not until I was old). Now Im deist, luckily for me, my parents let me decide what i wanted. They have their own beliefs and i have mine and we get along great. I still dont understand why some people cant accept different ideas. (hehe sorry for butting in :D )

DoekimThai15 3 years ago
dude you should look more into the scientific side of the Bible. there are so many things that don't add up. The Bible said that the Earth was the center of the Universe...well we know that isn't true.

siberianwinter57 3 years ago
What fairytale? There is no fairytale, it's the word, you should shut up about becuase you apparently don't know what you are talking about so you might as well go home to your enchanted castle. I think you live in a fairytale because you think that everything you know is right.

ok so...if the bible makes you live in the right way why did the spanish torture the people because they didn't believe in it???
look it is very good you believe...and is your choice but if other people don't want want to you can't make them or convince them. Believe whatever you want...just don't tell others that they should you are gonna get in trouble or they are going to curse on you and stuff
anuvamp 3 years ago 2
yeah, I had to learn it the hard way a while ago. The Spanish did that because of their choosing. They refused to fallow the Bible and killed innocent people because they did. They thought it was sick to worship one god and not their's. Just answering your question.
DoekimThai15 3 years ago
and what if we dont, is god going 2 hurt us bc we question wheather he exists?.... rly christian of u man man "believe what i say or else i will hurt you" that is very similar to terrorism is it not? i will not be threatened or scared into a belief
the bible was written and rewritten for 1000 yrs after the death of christ
and ppl back then didnt write accurate history so then write in favor of their own. And fuck u on living the right way not only do ur opinions reflect terrorism and facism
fyfe4freedom 3 years ago
I'm not telling you to "believe or else I will hurt you" What a rediculous conclusion you've made out of what I've said. You seem to think everything, even religion is based on science. I have my own opinions and frankly I don't care what you think of them. I have chosen my own choice to be a Christian and life is pretty good. I know this isn't very Christian of me but you do sound like you've got a big problem jammed all the way up your @ss, I hope you get it out soon and leave me alone.
DoekimThai15 3 years ago
All the demons in hell believe in God and they suffer just far more than the souls in Hell. Terrorism and facism are based upon the supposition that the rulers are indeed cruel or have wicked intent. If you think the one who created you would be a facist I find you a fool, if I were a God, I would simply take my mind off of you for a moment; and you would cease to exist, in present past and future, rather than be a facist. So much easier. Take your fear mongering words and shove em up yer arse.
