I don't blame Activision for wanting to make money they're not being greedy they're trying to succeed in life but MW3 is probably my last activision game that i buy but did you guys know that bungie (the makers of Halo 1,2,3 ,Reach ODST, Wars) is now working together with activision? Fortunately halo is being continued by Microsoft and not Activsion(Fagdivision *cough*) And i'm more into (MMO)Rpgs now back to my gamer roots lol
I remember playing the original CoD in middle school with my friend on lan party's and it was fun we kept it going up until CoD4, it was good and but I feel that Activision saw that they could make a profit with the franchise and decide to butt in to the Infinity ward's original vision of a good game and destroy it with a little help from "treyarch". And really they bought out Infinity ward most of the original people who worked for them left to work for other companies, IW=Treyarch.
The last 2 call of duty games released in the same year. For the current game, activision already has 20 dlc packs planned out. MW3 even has direct cut and paste parts from previous games. This is pretty much definitive shovelware. As a franchise, COD makes a lot of money and Activision know this. They will exploit it and continue releasing the same game every X months until people stop buying it. Just look at guitar hero and how they milked it.
@HiDeguild activision kills all their franchise under their belt and don't forget that they did the same to tony hawk series, for them they believe its better to give people the bare minimum to make a quick buck that why I'm bias over all games produced by them and allways choose EA games like RB and BF. They are like drug dealers and are catering to their addicts crazed addictions of sloppy poorly developed games.
100% correct. However, why oh why can't they make a game mode for advanced players? Camp hard for longer than 30 seconds - you die. No death streaks. Limited perks. They have hardcore mode, why not advanced mode?? WHY??

All of the consoles except for PC and Nintendo are like Activision. Just big corporations grabbing at your money. While everything you say is valid the fact that you are playing on a console destroys your speech. Consoles were made for the casuals who aren't smart enough to use a PC (which isn't all that hard) or purchase one. Therefore all of the dumber people purchase consoles lowering the standard of gaming itself consoles ruined the entire gaming community.
Same thing happened with the maddened series and. Making that game so that anyone can be good and beat or at least stay close to hardcore players. No blowouts or at least very hard to get one. EA did the same thing! Bastards lol.

ur right . the only thing is they tried to do it, the lag was a great idea but poorly made. the revenge spawn was good too but it had bugs were u spawn on him . not close to him (which what they were going for) . and its not all activision . in fact. sledgehammer did all or most of the mp . btw the stuff in the game is not bad. motion sensors aren't bad but when u abuse its really bad . and they make their money (the deal with xbox map packs a month earlier).

@justicexami I'm actually pretty good at mw3 and I was pretty good at black ops. My gamertag on xbox is zDeathTACOz and on ps3 its DeathTacoSupreme. Look up my numbers. The one thing about mw3 that shouldn't have been in the game is deathstreaks. Other than that its the same old c.o.d. its not the game in general that is bad its the community...tell ur friends.
the youtube community is a minority and therefore activision doesn't care about people who care about the game. the series is now fully catered to noobs. enough said. we are screwed. treyarch does try to cater the game to gamers, but we will see what they do. i recommend to just stick to bf3 until that game is ruined by the players as well.
Yo James. I feel u bro. Mw3 has definitely been tailored towards the casual newbie. Is it me or do u feel after you die, you come back with almost godly skills until you start killing others then the roles reverse. It appears activision gives you a hidden boost after you die, and punish u if you are on a good kill streak. Your aim sharpens, more damage, more auto aim assist. But when u kill it's in reverse.
I agree with you that it all boils down to corporate greed. If they made a few minor adjustments then this game could live up to the hype. Especially for us hardcore gamers that drop sixty bucks on this game and then to feel disappointed with the multiplayer aspect is really frustrating. Like you I am all but done with cod. I've been playing more bf3 and find it to be more balanced.
Good points, James. I remember when I first started MW2, I sucked so badly. I had to get to 800 kills before I earned a 1.0 KDR. Now, after have been playing the game for a year, I am almost always on the top of the scoreboard every game. With MW3 and the lag compensation, it makes the game more noob friendly. I'm not saying that COD should be very difficult to noobs like some games such as Uncharted 3, but the lag compensation is BS. It's only in there to make the crap players do little better

The reason why Mw3 is like that because it was so anticipated. I have a ps3 and I went back and played Mw2 and I went 17-1. The gameplay is slower and at your own pace. Great video Powns, I am not a COD verteran but an old school gamer in general. People are going to be upset when COD changes its "winning" formula. Ya I figured this out a while ago. I've only been playing CoD since MW2, I think it was sometime after the first but before the second map packs came out. Part way through black ops, I pretty much caught on to this and it's why I stopped playing blops after the first map pack.
It's not that they don't realize that these are problems. It's that they know these are problems only to decent or good players. To shitty players or super casuals, they love it. So it will never be a balanced fps.
CoD has became a money sucking leech. Each year the games get worse and worse. and sure! the games are fun for a week or two, until you realise how fucking shit the games are. The first, and last revolutinary cod was CoD4, Perks and Killstreaks and Custom classes, and with many things invnted by the players, examples - Quickscoping and Trickshotting. No you won't be a master at it the second you play it, but you will be decent if you have a few brain cells. I agree with you that it all boils down to corporate greed. If they made a few minor adjustments then this game could live up to the hype. Especially for us hardcore gamers that drop sixty bucks on this game and then to feel disappointed with the multiplayer aspect is really frustrating. Like you I am all but done with cod. I've been playing more bf3 and find it to be more balanced.

Good points, James. I remember when I first started MW2, I sucked so badly. I had to get to 800 kills before I earned a 1.0 KDR. Now, after have been playing the game for a year, I am almost always on the top of the scoreboard every game. With MW3 and the lag compensation, it makes the game more noob friendly. I'm not saying that COD should be very difficult to noobs like some games such as Uncharted 3, but the lag compensation is BS. It's only in there to make the crap players do little better

The reason why Mw3 is like that because it was so anticipated. I have a ps3 and I went back and played Mw2 and I went 17-1. The gameplay is slower and at your own pace. Ya I figured this out a while ago. I've only been playing CoD since MW2, I think it was sometime after the first but before the second map packs came out. Part way through black ops, I pretty much caught on to this and it's why I stopped playing blops after the first map pack.
It's not that they don't realize that these are problems. It's that they know these are problems only to decent or good players. To shitty players or super casuals, they love it. So it will never be a balanced fps.

@omegaxtrigun Thanks for the reply. I was more referring to the way he was making it sound so bad for kids to not have to work as hard for a few kills in this game. The game still doesn't make it so you can be a "master" the second you play, however it makes it so you can at least get a few "cheap" kills each game so people don't go 0-20 every single game and quit.
