ur blades ar too close to the boat just need a bit more leverave, try sweepin your body with paddle on the surface from front to you coming up nearly on the back deck,or at least cause uv a round hull gettin that leverage to 70' remember 60% of rolling in the the hips.
what you need to do is when you are underwater, take a second to orient yourself, and bring the forward blade of the paddle up to the surface of the water (so that the blade is parallel to the surface). Then, slice the blade back, taking care not to make it go too deep

practice, practice and get professional training:)
work on getting a stronger hip snap and your head should be the last thing to come out of the water:)

your paddle wasnt on the water surface( one blade was to deep in the water )
your paddle never came out to the side ( imagine a door handle pivoting )
and of course, your head poped up to say hello lol :D

Both of your videos show how a roll fails when you lift your head up.
Everyone watching these should take note of that and learn.

yep! and i'm still unable to complete an eskimo roll. But with a Paddle Float i'm ok!
i deflate de float a little more each time. Hard to learn with no ones to teach

Using a paddle float is a good way to practice.
After awhile it gets easier and when you have the body motion right you hardly put any pressure on the paddle at all.
That's when you take off the float and just use the paddle.
Once you have mastered the roll it becomes a nice way to cool off on a hot day.
