I know this is stupid, but if you clearflag 0x82F, will you lose the running shoes? I want to make a character say:

You can't get me if i steal your running shoes!

Then he runs away, you battle him and he gives you running shoes again if you win.

Like i said before, clearflag will remove the shoes, right?

The pokedex is given through the menu. Setflag 0x829 activates it. The pokedex isn't an actual item, it's a menu. If removesprite 0x800F doesn't work, change it to the number of your sprite.

I copy the script correctly and put it onto the game as the tutorials say but when I talk to the person who i put the script to he gives me the pokedex then the screen goes black and he is still there. I don't know what I did wrong

@smoutify You mean you replaced brock's script and don't have the offset for his original script anymore? Open an unhacked version of the game you're editing and copy it from there :)

@smoutify for the badge script, you'll notice he sets 8 different flags. Each flag corresponds to one of the badges. I'm pretty sure they're in order. Ex. 0x820 would be brock's badge, 0x821 would be misty's, etc.

I did the script correctly, then I tested the script on a map I created, did not work but when I test with the same ROM and same script on a map that already exists (example: PALLET TOWN) worked! Try to do this ...

A flag script? You mean a text document that lists all of the flags? Just use 0x1200 and up.
