If you change the name of the characters .dat file, it only confuses the data.txt.

Instead, open the characters .dat file and you should see the "Name" almost on top of the code (If not completely on top)

Lol, this is cool. I also thought of making Halo LF2. I thoguht of using arbiter using using davis' character. Davis' ki balls make good plasma rifle blasts.

Depends on what kind of code you want to learn. I suggest you start with something web-based like Html or Php, even if you want to get into gaming function code. I suggest you start out with something easier.

I just jumped straight into little fighter coding, it took me like 5 days to learn the basics after i found a good tutorial. I think it depends more of what person you are.
