As a matter of a fact, last year, there was a swarm on a tree branch that hung over a busy street that was too high and too dangerous to set up a ladder for.
I pulled my pickup on the street and tried to set a ladder in the back of my pickup. The cop asked me if I was crazy, then told me to hit the road!
This would have made it a snap, from the sidewalk.

They sell white buckets for this...but you can't see what's inside. The water jug works much better.
