Igniting pressurised cans MAY cause that, but it's a one in a billion chance and requires slow reflexes and a lot of stupidity. A pump container like that could never blow up, ever. Also, your mate didn't die from doing that, you're a liar AND a moron. :)

or you can just lite a birthday candle and tape it to the end of some WD40....then spray the WD40 and there is an ongoing flame till u run out of the liquid and it goes WAYYY farther...botu 3-5 feet.
