I have this game I cant wait to get him :D I thought of this. they might have made him game only. his zanpakuto ability. it absorbs the reiatsu of who he kills and adds it to his own making him stronger

@dragonkillers100 That's essentially the basis for his existence and the source of his power in the DS game The 3rd Phantom. I guess it's a good thing he doesn't actually bother to use Fenice in this game.

I love the spanish accent. It adds so much more depth to the character because there is a spanish motif to all hollows and arrancars. You can tell its a spanish voice actor by the way he pronounces hueco mundo.

The story of Shattered blade would of been a way better filler than the bount arc. :D

@ryushin6 I actually rather liked the Bount arc, actually...plus, it's better than the other filler plots that came later on, if you ask me, anyway.

I don't think that the skeleton of a plot that this game operates on could sustain itself that long, but maybe if they combined it with some elements from The 3rd Phantom, which also centered largely around Arturo Plateado, they might be able to make for a decent movie plot.

you know what would have been great if arturo was the leader and creaters of the espada and then help yammy against kenpachi and byakuya then escaped when yammy dies and return as ichigo new rival in the new manga gosh arturo a great villian

I don't understand why people are hating on his voice.... I like it. Arturo is my favorite character! But well, I wish they had put him in a filler episode of some kind or something. He doesn't get enough love.  Man this game- I can't stop playing! Anyway, thankyou for the wonderful video. ^^

I totally think they should put Arturo on the anime series, at least on a filler arc or a movie cuz i find him cool but that voice is horrible!!! its not the fact that is a spanish accent cuz some arrancars in the anime have mexican or even italian kind of accents but this voice is too rough for Arturo,they should have put him a voice like Ulquiorras or Aizens.aside from that yeah they should add him to the anime and also Suzunami, Matsuri & Fujimaru from Bleach the 3rd phamtom, theyre cool too!

Arturo didn't fight anyone below Captain-class in this video. That's pretty cool.

Regarding the game being ahead of the story, that's why Naruto games take so very long to come out here...Worse in that it follows the anime, thus completely disregarding the massive catch-up Viz did.

Maybe Arturo developed this outft, then Aizen liked it so much he modeled his Arrancars' outfits after Arturo's.

I believe with Naruto games, they started completely making up their own stories so that they could use existing characters, creating roughly analogous gameplay with highly dissimilar rosters and completely different storylines to their "counterparts" in Japan, both series directly based on the most current engine versions of the time.

So for Naruto we get two divergent series based on the same source material, but separated by the delay in broadcast due to the need for translation and dubbing.

Well, what I mean is that sometimes, characters show up in these games and they get delayed until those characters show up in the anime. There was also that whole time-skip thing going on, which held back many Naruto games for years despite the time-skip happening in the Viz manga before the anime.

Bleach doesn't seem to worry about that.

Yeah, at the same time as this, the Treasure-developed DS fighting game was released, which covers basically the whole of the Soul Society Rescue Arc (or whatever it should be called), and it almost looks like it stops about where the English broadcast anime did (in spite of how the 52nd episode is not a logical cut-off point, especially for a game)...but then it goes on to dramatically unveil Aizen's plan anyway. So it's at least slightly better than the way this game handled it.
