  • Has that gold got a nazi symbol on it 1:09 The Riech or something.

  • @Hellothasauras yep, the nazi eagle.

  • 1:13 love this scene: the ball moves towards the gold

  • lol smart ass, thats a good movie :P

  • caddy- if that's his original im arnold paaaalmer

  • The funny thing is at the end when you know Connery's got the ball, he's a horrible lier.

  • @NickyDaMan i think the idea was to make it obvious to get get goldfinger mad

  • What does Bond's caddy mean when he says "It's your honor sir?" I know he switched Goldfinger's 1 with the 7.

Best Bond movie, no doubt about it.

  • @goodbadugly16 - Just a rule of golf, Bond should have been the one to tee off first.

I agree, Goldfinger is still the best of the lot in my eyes.

  • Sore loser

  • unfortunately gert fobe passed away in 1988 vut he is still remembered one of the best actors I've ever seen

  • One of the best movie villians of ALL time....Auric Goldfinger wanted to corner the world's gold market....is it true he had a cousin who wanted to corner the "Preparation H" market? Reportedly, his name was Eric Stinkyfinger.

  • Q: What happened when James Bond had to use cheap toilet paper?

    A: GoldFinger!

  • Best Bond movie ever.

  • Gert Frobe always reminds me of one of the priests at my church - we all call him "Father Slim-Fast".

  • This is a great movie. In fact the movie was ban in Israel because Gert Frobe who plays Goldfinger was a member of the Nazi Party doing World War 2 but help the Jews escape from the SS. When a Jewish family thank Gert Frobe for saving their life the ban of the movie was lifted in Israel

  • I love this scene. The acting, the expressions are priceless between the two actors! They both know what each other are thinking, but are playing it cool for show. Genius!

  • This is my second fav. bond film, its a fun film, the best bond film however is From Russia with Love

  • A classic in cinematic history...

  • this Bond film was, in my opinion, one of the best! It has a more realistic plot by a cunning villain who had no more of a motive than to make him gain extra wealth by doing something that no other mobster would think of...simply destroying one nations currency only so that they would rely on his stock making it worth 10 times as much. Brilliant story!

  • I guess golf is the national game of Korea now :)

  • james owned him

  • does anyone know why some guys were tied up and gagged at the end of this movie? I've always wondered why

  • I think you are talking about the original crew of the plane.

  • they were the pilot and crew of the plane

  • he he he so mean XD

  • it refers to closely shaven skin I believe. Where exactly is left up to the imagination

  • after James is 'freshened up' in the bathroom on Mr Goldfingers private jet; Pussy rubs her gun along Bond's chin and says; "You like close shaves, don't you?" I heard that there is a sexual pun here, but really I don't get it at all ! can anybody elaborate ??

  • Love this scene!

  • lol owned

  • lol pwned

  • This was filmed at Stoke Park, Buckinghamshire.

  • 3:18 is hilarious

  • l want 2 watch more...

  • Nice drive at 2.20 lol

  • Roger Moore couldn't play golf to save himself. he throws like a girl and he can hardly punch, thats why Connery was better, a natural sportsman, he looked good doing everything.

  • It's, true, Connery was/is a great natural athlete, but give Moore a break, he's way better than Brosnan or Craig.

  • Wasn't Connery a runner-up in the Mr. Universe contest years ago?

  • "golf is not yet a national sport of korea eh"

how ironice b/c many koreans are on the rise of being top-notched pro golfers.

just a side note, this golf club was used in the movie layer cake, a gangster movie starring daniel craig

  • I also found that out. In a gold mag?

  • this is a 12 kg goldbar, not 1 kilo as I wrote earlier.

still wonder where they hid this big boy

  • Red writing and black writing on the two balls

Pretty obvious diff! But this is one of the best films ever so I will forgive!!

  • These are the kind of scenes missing from the bond movies today!! This is what made Connery so memorable, his suave tricks not action scenes

  • Yes. Scenes like this did most to create the Bond ethos we all love. Today's Bond flicks try to condense it into the occasional one-liners they squeeze in between action sequences that try far too hard to impress. Then again, aside from a few genuinely useful novelties (like the net, youtube, for example), isn't everything just... shitter...these days?

  • Yes everything is a little shittier today, we have high standards in women but low standards in cinema, I feel the Dark Knight was truly the best movie that came out this year and not taking away from the film the industry has been pure shit the past 8 years

  • opening scene of swordfish monologue comes to mind when you say that.

  • made me LOL at the last bit of this movie

  • Oddjob is a Hawaiian.

  • The best part of the Goldfinger movie - just playing golf. Don't see that in any other Bond movie. This part was in Ian Flemings' book as well.

  • Believe it or not, that's how I got into golf in the first place!

  • Where did Bond hide that 1 kilo goldbar? Under his hat or in his pocket?

  • His caddy must have been carrying it. Bond hands it back to him when he picks it up.

  • Ah ah!

That must have been the golf ball which Oddjob CRUSHED with his bare hand in the next scene.

Goldfinger is the BEST JAMES BOND FILM OF ALL.

  • I agree. Goldfinger is my favorite too !

  • The earliest Bonds were the best. I wonder how Roger Moore would have fared in those roles. He certainly had the talent; it's just that the Bond screenplays by the time he got the job weren't as interesting.

  • you mean to say that sean walked all the way round the golf course with a solid gold bar in his pocket without anyone noticing....not to mention the weight... Typical scotsman from edinburgh... hard as nails!

  • Drops a solid gold bar on the green LOL

  • connery is so smooth

  • Thanks for posting a scene from my absolute favorite movie. i wish i was alive when this came out,I've read that it was huge! My most prized possesion is my autographed Goldfinger move poster...BTW Gert Frobe's voice was all dubbed.

  • CLASSIC, thank you for posting!

  • connery has one hell of a swing!!

  • Is this on DVD I'm just woundering?

  • yes,of course!!!!!!!

  • Surprisingly enough, gold finger says that Golf is not the national game in Korea, when now every Korean Person I know, Including my girlfriend play golf lool

I am not stating some sort of Hasty Generalization

its true almost every Norean I know plays golf

    It is the national sport

  • "Golf is not "YET" the national game in Korea,eh?"...this was said way back in the 1960's..try to appreciate that fact...not in 2008..

  • without a doubt the finest scene ever made

  • ah ah oddjob lool

    3:18

  • Goldfinger said he was mute :O

  • I used to quote Oddjob like that as a kid.

    Ah Ah!

  • on of the best Bondscenes ever!

  • haha loved this movie.

    Sean Connerys the best bond
