why do you use gesso?

I used Gesso instead of using white paint because I was low on the paint. I wanted white edges for the pages.

I wanted to know the brown paper you use to do your crafting on, what is the brand name or what's the paper called, seems like it's easy to clean.

I'm new to this and trying to learn what to start on first, anyway your videos are very helpful and I can follow along very easily.

Hi Cindy - I use the Tim Holtz craft mat. It's heat resistant and is way easy to clean. You can buy it most scrapbooking places now. I'll pm you the links from a couple of places you can get it.
