I am curently playing this game for the gba but am trying to understand how the magic protection spell works when you use it on one of your companions , it does not seem to protect . Is it only affective against cirtain enemy's ? . Thanks .

Its okay I have completed it now ....

The protection spell heightens your defense. (or decreases the enemy's attack power on you.) Curve arrows spell completely protects a companion from one range attack

and i don't know a melee defence spell. Forgot

Thanks , I have completed the game now , I don't think I used the protections spells at all to be honest but used the attack spells more .
