Well of course this isn't the exact footage. Think of how bad the quality would be(that really wouldn't be worth the money). The director saw the footage and decided to write a script and react everything but this isn't the total exact footage that they took. I personally think this is a good movie :)

People need to wake up. This is supposed to be based on real footage and whether you believe it was a good movie or not I believe it was based to inform. Sorry to disappoint because there was no nudity or explosions. If you can see paranormal activity and like it then you can say that this was a decent movie.

@teebaybee123 but there are lads of movies like that, about encounters with technologically advanced aliens, and they're pretty much all war movies. i think something like this is way more interesting. movies like war of the worlds are unrealistic, coz the aliens happen to be just like us, with heads, torsos and 4 limbs, 2 eyes 2 nostrils and 1 mouth etc. there are earthly animals that are more different to us than that. i think having the aliens as weird creatures is more realistic

@teebaybee123 plus, this is more original. it's not a war movie, it's set on the moon, isolated from the rest of humanity, claustrophobic, and the only colours are grey and black. and there's the idea that the aliens aren't technologically advanced like they always are in other movies, they're large bugs (which are scary), but they're still dangerous. looks good as a thriller and an alien movie
