For me, this is the BEST version of Echoes.

Having heard this and many other versions of Echoes, including the orginal on my Meddle album set of digital remasters, it's my opinion that the version of Echoes from David Gilmours Remember that Night DVD blows all other versions away.

Once I heard Echoes, I knew it will become song of my life. I have hear all possible versions of the song, but this is the most awesome of them all. Sax solo in Echoes... well... orgasm lasting whole 23 minutes...

I have been listening to this piece, the original and many live versions, since 1971. I continue to listen to it at least three or four times a week. It ranks right up there with the greatest musical compositions of all time, including the works of Beethoven, Bach, and Wagner. It is simply magnificent.

A fine job, Mr Floydian Slip, and i thank you for your efforts. The drums especially sound great. This is one smokin' version here, similar to the one I heard at Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton, Ontario, June 75.
