  • mate these vids are the absolute nuts.

only thing that puzzles me, is the egg poweder used to just get more boilies out of the base mix, or do you have to dilute the base mix to sort of take the edge of the flavours so to speak?

    Great vids though fella!

  • quality videoes :)

  • you should turn your friend into boilies the ungrateful cunt

  • Dang great video. Yeah hate when people touch my stuff and don't take care of it properly.

  • And you are a stupid American cunt that knows absolutley nothing about anything. Wanker!!!

  • @AmericansSexualPreds yea you fukin yank twat fuk off these vids are awesome

  • Thanks a million mate for the informative series. Although we don't get all of your ingredients in South Africa your videos are extremely helpful and have helped me in making my own boilies. As we say here Stuyve Lyne "Tight Lines"

  • great informative videos bud , its a real shame your so called mate ruined your bait gun ,cant stand people who have no respect for your hard earned gear, and always want gear/bait for nothing saying "ill buy it next time" and next time never comes.

  • Got the same plates as you :O

  • bet the dog chewed the fecking 14mm your mate needs a slap lol

  • That was never the reflex of an Everton goal keeper, you saved it! :o) If that was the reflex of an Everton Goal keeper you would have missed it and it would have disapeared into the back of your kitchen somewhere :o)

  • lol, I never like fishing with boilies but when i do i just take 1 part polenta, 1 part maizena and 1 part fishmeal, few eggs and then just form something roundISH with my hands. all kinda diffrent sizes. I don't think a carp minds if he/she's eating a super duper modern boilie with all kinds of flavors and colours or just a simple boilie.

  • No but protein matters. You make a simple boilie with no protein then you will have no carp. Its all to do with what benefit the carp will get from the boilie. They seek protein/enegy food & they know simply by smell and sense how much protein is in what ever it is they are smelling and seeing and thats the deciding factor in whether they take it or not. Winters even worse for it as in winter they will not burn off enegy if the food source they smell doesnt replace more than they use to find it.

  • So really the ingredients although sometimes they look way over the top, actually matter. In many cases you are right as there are alot of flavours and additives which claim to be massive carp catchers when infact if you read the ingredients you are better of using a piece of bread than the magic bait you are about to purchase. Anyway i wont go on anymore, the basics of these videos isnt really to advertise flavours etc its more just a basic tuturial on bait making in general. Take it easy.

  • I could go on and on about your comment on *i make a roundish bait* but ill try not to. Its all well and good saying who cares if its exactly round etc but it depends on the rigs you use. If i use an egg shape boilie then my rig wouldnt hook into the carps mouth as effective because i make my rigs to with a round bait the hook turns apon an eject. I really dont wanna go on because maybe you are not right into the tech shit i am but i really believe it all matters personally. See ya mate.

  • I am new to carp fishing... when you say "i make my rigs to with a round bait the hook turns apon an eject" How do you setup your rig to accomplish that? I have read plenty on how to tie hair rigs, watched a bunch of vids but I have not seen mention of tying them in such a way as to promote the hook to turn when the fish ejects the bait. I did manage to catch and land my first carp, 21 lbs, 3 ozs on Sunday on a hair rig I tied but I suspect I also missed a lot of hook ups as well.

  • Also new to carp fishing and have being doing a lot of research. I have a dvd that demonstrates how to improve your hookup rate by using shrink tubing over the eye of the hook. It causes the hook to turn much faster and hence increases the number of hookups. Speak to your local tackle shop for the right shrink tubing for your rigs and ask them to explain how to hold the tubing (between 15-20mm) above steam to have it shrink over the eye of the hook.

  • hi mate, where can i get a 12v boilie gun, cant find one anywhere...? great, very informative videos...cheers

    pj

  • @ptek2004 try a shilham bait gun and compresser, works really well mate. Should last a long time too

  • or you could buy emm !!

    Cheers delks
