If playing with a game pad, beat every other boss, then fight Storm Owl last. When you get to him, set X, Square, Triangle and Circle on Auto fire then just hop around.

It's actually easier to fight him like that for me than it is to actually try normally. =P

The problem with the X series is that it got repetitive (I don't mean the play style) and the story was constantly contradicting it's self.

X1 and X3 were great. And X4 is my tops, partly because i grew up with it, and also because it's possibly the last decent X game in the series (except maybe x5).

If the timing it right, Storm Owl will be right out of Zero's hitbox when he finishes the attack.

Also, Zero's attack uses the same type of damage X's Aiming Laser does. Therefor it is possible to hit Storm Owl multiple times with the attack.

No it's not. When you perform Zero's special, he is invulnerable when he is doing it. Time that, along with how close Storm Owl gets to you makes you invincible for that time while you deal the most damage to him.
