If Shock treatment hadn't bomed so collosally then we may well have seen this film or stage play. Sadly Shock Treatment (Although it had some good musical pieces) ruind any realistic hope of Revenge of the Old Queen being made it seems, unless there is a very generous independent backer. *shakes fist at Shock treatment*

I really enjoyed the script and think they should make this. The ending is maybe a little rushed and the Sonny-thing a little far-fetched but it has great potential. In addition, this song is simply fantastic. I even dare to say it's one of the best of O'Brien, musically if not lyrically.

this was the re-write of the original sequel. In an interview with R O'B said the story was to start right where RHPS ended. At the end of the film the house takes off leaving Dr Scott, Brad and Janet behind. But also the pool is in the basement with Franks body in it. Brad forces Dr Scott (the scientist) to go thru Franks notes (Frank discovered the secret to life itself) and makes him bring Frank back to life. Then they travel to Trans to get revenge on Riff. No one would agree to be in it.

@kortick50 who wouldn't want to watch that? It wouldn't be very good, if it were filmed today with all our high tech equipment. That grainy, low-budget feel could never be recaptured today. Rocky was ahead of it's time. People just weren't ready for that cinematic trangression. It would have bomb like Pearl harbor at the box office, and whoever invested their time and money would definitely equal an unimaginable negative in their bank accounts. I think if it were done today, it would be praised.

Steve, Ray, Mary Lou, Riff Raff, Sonny, Judy, the Old Queen, Janet, De Lordie, and various extras. Thats only 9 people that can act, some set designers, stage crew, and atleats 15 extras, i think. If you can put this on, please, put it on YouTube, maybe we can get popular like AVPM, and besides I really want to see it.

I can help with set design and editing but thats about it. Would this be done as a movie (with editing) or an on-stage, play? I think a movie would be better with how many seen changes there are and all the special effects.

I mean they could just find a stereotypical model [hence Peter Hinwood having voice overdubbs] and have someone with a nice rock timbre and vibrato singing in the studio for whom ever plays Sonny. It won't be difficult to find Brad's brother, his boss, his bosses secretary, and his high school sweet heart. After you've got all the reterning characters figured out, then I think we have a probable low budget Rocky sequel.

I'm pretty sure with Susan aged, she still could potentially play the part of Janet. Just a little dab and touch with the makeup brush, and she's good as gold.

Not sure if Richard would retern as Riff Raff, but they could make it apart of the plot, that tennants on Transylvania age quicker, but when on earth they stay young and green forever. I'm just spitting in the wind as I go along. De lordie could be portrayed by Richard O' Brien, they never specify his number. Now who would play Sonny?

Well I don't think they need Barry Bostwick, since he falls to his death prior to the old queen taking off. Magenta apparently is killed by her brother Riff Raff, so we don't need Patricia anymore. I believe whoever [and whenver] they make this film they can get away without showing the cadaverous bodies of Brad and Magenta. Unless they made a clone out of the younger versions with wax or something [like in those realistic wax museums]. Janet is supposedly a alcoholic junkie living by herself.

I didn't think much of the script, but I seriously love this song ;_; It's so depressing that it'll never be properly released. I have no doubt the rest of the songs would have been just as good (Disgracefully Yours/Mephistopheles Smith has good songs, so I doubt RHS was a one off hit). I hope that one day we'll get this song (and a sequel!) in its entirety
