My wife, who is Dominican, had an uncle who faught in the Cuban Revolution. After Castro came to power and showed his true colors, he turned and Castro had him arrested. Both he and a friend escaped from prison the night before he was to be executed in front of the firing squad and were on the run in Central and South America from Castro's goons for two years before returning to the DR after Trujillo died.

It is true some of the modern things Cubans don't have but when you fail to factor in the fall of the Soviet Union as well as the Embargo and the 635 attempts on Castros life then we aren't getting the full picture. I believe under Raul we will see more of these things, and its really important that i ask you what happened to Nicaragua after voting out the Sandinistas in 1990, from 90-2006 of U.S. backed leadership why was that not great/?

@xlntpix Taht was a great video, i gre up in a really right wing society and i never new aything about castro just that he was bad. Then my englihs teacher assigned us a paper of castro, che , guerrilla tactics and the cuban revolution an my perspective has changed 100%.
