  • Do you aspire to be the next Spielberg or Cappola? If so, make your film available to the opinion of veterans in the field who will give you constructive criticism and show you a clear direction to pursue.

Turn your passion into a profession at the International Short Film Competition at Aahān 2011 hosted by the Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management in Mumbai, India. With over 1000 short films from 43 countries being screened over the period of the last 3 years.

    It’s Lights, Camera, Aahān!

  • Love it. You´re an inspiration.

  • and thus another crazy cat lady was born

  • Y'know, I think this was on TV during this Nickelodeon animation festival some years ago. I definitely remember it.

I also remember one called "Exit", which was in French, which I can NOT find anywhere on the internets! T-T

  • she became catlady from the simpsons

  • I guess many people thought the same...hahahaha...

  • Excelente animación, y sonidos!!

  • wow! thats really amazing! its so smooth and the sounds really suit it!

  • awesome job!

  • great! :)

  • skvělý video! takový "výdejko......."

  • very nice animation! i enjoyed reading the thoughts of the character through each situation. :)

  • That's wonderful! Much better than some of the films I've seen!

  • you've got really good timing

  • really really nice-like the old skool style and feel of it!!

  • Very nice! :D

  • The most astonishing and prodigious thing about your film is the way your character expresses and displays emotion, I simply admire animators who can achieve that in their work! :)

  • yo that was amazing! what did you get?

  • I really liked it =)

  • excellent work! enjoyed it alot

  • Very nice.

  • Most excellent.

Reminds me of the last rescue dog I got...still have...like the cat, he roared anytime anyone got near him.

    Now...even he's a pussycat.

    Loved your animated short.

    Well played, dear one...well played.

  • I enjoyed your movie, I enjoy watching old cartoons that i grew up with that someone was nice enough to upload on youtube, clips of shows i would never see again that were part of my childhood. and it really sucks that those greedy assholes at Viacom want to just put all the tapes in a vault and no one will ever see them again, that is until the release them for a premium price that you have to pay. money is evil and makes people do evil things.

  • Thats Well Good!

  • Its officially over! I was personally contacted by an executive at Viacom, who explained how my film got mixed into their system. Juxtaposer was in a film festival that was presented by Nicktoons, and they just forgot that Viacom's rights to those films were all nonexclusive. He personally assured me that Viacom is no longer making a claim to my film. Thanks again to everyone who commented! And also, thank you to Viacom who stepped up, admitted their mistake and apologized, within two days.

  • Glad to hear everything worked out OK!

  • Thats good to hear. However, Viacom still sucks.

  • loved it.

  • This is great, I wonder what Viacom though they owned in this? there's barley any Audio and the animation has the credits as to who made it IN it.

  • luv your video! and viacom: GTFO my internet

  • Viacom criminals

  • LOL Great Video Screw Viacom.

  • Nice movie - glad to see viacom went away.

Keep to your guns though, you never know what sneaky things those media people do...

  • Awesome video!....Fuck Viacom for stealing your post!

  • Beautiful work, I love the style! Also, of course, shame on Viacom for trying to gank your work.

  • DEATH to VIACOM!!! SLIT THE THROATS OF THE CAPITALIST PIGS!

  • Nicely done :)

  • Wow, thanks for all the great comments! To give you an update, I did dispute Viacom's claim immediately. And surprisingly enough, after one day of throwing a hissyfit, the "claimed by Viacom" tag has been taken off my video. But just in case things still become sour, I'm very happy that I now have resources to turn to. Again, thanks to everyone for your support!

  • Fuck you Viacom, for deciding it's a good idea to make money off things they didn't make. Joanna, I hope you fight back. Don't let these bastards take what's yours. Go to hell, Viacom.

  • That was amazing. Viacom can go to hell.

  • screw you viacom. greedy corporate bastards with nothing but money to throw at stupid mindless lemming lawyers.

  • I remember seeing this at Hi Mom! Sorry to hear about your Viacom problems. The good news is that the word is getting out, and that's going to be a black-eye for them.

  • Awesome video! Viacom can go screw themselves.

  • Viacom media conglomerate is irrelevant when it comes to the Internet.

Screw the company and the Neanderthals that run it, just like the RIAA and the CRIA. And the FDA.

  • Screw Viacom!

  • Did this short appear on a website, or tv program owned by Viacom? That may be why the Vid-ident program tagged it.

  • Love the video, and nice singing, too ;-)

  • Fuck Viacom!

  • f*ck you viacom. really ... f*ck you.

  • Viacom clearly have a valid claim against this video. It has a cat in it. Some Viacom video has cats in therefore this violates their copyright.

Oh, and that bloke in the green jumper - he's right out. Can't have green jumpers because Viacom own green.

  • Great video! BOOOOOO VIACOM!

  • You should post this video on some other sites just in case Viacom does anything to this one- I recommend NicoVideo.

  • Very cute, well-drawn, and true-to-life. I love your caricatures of the various "types" that walk across her view.

  • A jumbo thumbs down for Viacom.

Great video! Charming and funny, I had a cat that used to act the same way!

  • Wow, you really have talent, no wonder Viacom is claming your video as theirs. They aparrently can't come up with any good material anymore.

Don't let the man keep your creativity down.

  • A thoroughly charming video. It's tragic that Viacom is coming after the producer, even though it's clear that this is completely non-infringing. When will we start doing something about this kind of over-reaching corporate power?

  • I have to say again that I love this. The cat, in particular, perfectly embodies every cat I've ever known, pretty much. Why is it that cats are stuck in an eternal PMS-like state? ^_^

    (don't kill me!)

  • That's really good, the story, the art work, the humor, it's all spot on.

  • i love this one so mutch i love the idea of being isolated

  • Wonderful, the character performances were just spot on. <3

  • That was awesome and so true! I really like your drawing style and that cat. :)

  • GREAT movie...loved it, just loved it!!! Very funny!

    Congratulations!!!
