back in 1965 i lived in france and they broadcast the international awards. matt won the vocal category. the guy is great. phil in florida

i like monro...a lot....but no one holds a candle to fas and when he puts his dna on a tune, well, it's his........como does a better job on this tune than matt, but alas, no one touches f as in francis and a as in albert and s as in sinatra

@Fair41 That is a bridge too far. Bing's career and his voice spanned over 50 years. All the pop singers including Matt Monro were beneficiaries of Bing Crosby. There is always the incliantion to confuse technique and tone with vocalization. Matt Monro was a great crooner and Bing Crosby inspired him and Frank Sinatra.
