guitars usually have trouble staying in tune for a short while if they've been shipped. but it goes away

what tunning is it in becuased if its a lower tunning you have to change the gaj of the strings and change the tightness of the screws in the back of the guitar if you go to shop costs about 50 pound

the problem was because i didn't know how to tune the guitr with the floyd rose system

tighten the locking nut at top, tune it with bridge fine tuners. then you should be ok.

I've had one of these for about 12 months now.

its a great guitar and I really love it, I did find though that when its tuned lower (drop C) it does not sound quite as good as when its tuned to standard, or down one step. its hard to explain but it just has more of a growl tuned higher, and it sounds great played clean or dirty

but if your not looking for a really low sound, I would recommend it to anyone.

You using heavier gauge strings to compensate for the silly tunings? you should use like 12-54's or so, then setup the guitars innotation and neck relief. When your using tunings like that you really need to set the guitar up for it and use it for that tuning only.. then have another guitar setup for other tunings. Yo may well know all that already but what the hell..

I got some heaver strings for tuning it lower,

to me it just lost alittle of its tone, its not a problem though, I have it set up on a higher tuning now

mine was the 255 model, but most of those lic floyds are the same on the dean upper end models, they are okay lic floyds, but the finish wears off, i have really sweaty hands, and play a lot, and maybe high acidic sweat. I replaced mine with an OFR because the lic already had wear on the knife edge.

It sounds bad because he's playing through a crummy amp.

When will people learn that the guitar itself isn't responsible for even half of your sound, amp set up/pedals is. Pickups, tone wood, fretboard etc account for maybe 30% tops of your overall tone.

So don't be discouraged by the sound of this vid. Deans are fantastic, I own a Dime O Flame and a Mustaine Gears of War V, both are excellent guitars, both playability and sound wise.

check out the krank revolution junior half/full stack. it depends to where you buy it, in germany the amp costs twice as much as it does in america, but this amp has an aweful good sound, especially for that price!

not as of yet. the only finishes available in the Razorback 255 model is two tone(black w/ silver bevels), two-tone(black w/ yellow bevels), and dimeslime, which is a finish dean has yet to release.

Is this guitar have jumbo frets? Question: What is the difference between double locking tremolo and locking tremolo? TheMusicFarm or Anyone?

this peticular model has medium frets. the double locking floyd means that the strings lock in on the actual bridge AND they lock down at the nut. on the single locking floyd, they would just lock in at the bridge. most floyd made today have the double locking feature.
