Im asking these questions to help myself in a case against having sickness pay and need all the information i can on people suffering with costochondritis. x

  • @beckywarb Are you sure you have costochondritis? If you've had it for 9 years, it sounds like you have Tietze's Syndrome... unless I'm wrong. *shrugs* I was just told by a doctor last month that I have costochondritis, and I was told to take ibuprofen 3 times a day for 2 weeks, and place warm towels or heating pads on my chest for 4 weeks. It worked fine... until I caught a cold three weeks ago, and then the flare ups started again. Have you tried the remedy that I did for myself?

  • I have it, and it will nearly take me FOREVER for it to heal.

Worst part, I'm very active, So this does affect me greatly, I can no longer run long distances :(

  • This enzimes COX proof in medical studies "COX and LOX enzymes help to regulate activity of signaling molecules that are critical for the maintenance of normal immune and inflammatory function."

I make alot of documentation about costocondritis becaue I have it too and Iam bodybuiling and sometimes I cant train proprely coz of pain.

I think my costocondritis come from too much, too much weight on dumbell press :) but this is another subject.

  • I get it like 3times a day. IT hurts me so bad . Sometimes I breath in really really hard and i hear a crack and then it goes. Sometimes i just try not to breath and it goes away.

  • MRI, discard any heart problem first and if its costo, go for the MRI. then the doctor will know what to do

  • Nearly 500 views?!

    Nice!

  • friends.... you need a magnetic scan in the area... if it hasnt healed after a year.. you need surgery. in the next 2 months Ill go through it... and I recomend you kids to avoid willing for a spontaneous remission. we can beat this just by fixing the part that is damaged. i recommend you to go to your doctor and tell them about this.

  • hi this is the first time i hear about a surgery ive ben diagnosed with a possible Tietze syndrome i suffer for two years itsnot that bad my chest crackels when i straight up like 10 times a day you can hear it :) its that loud A month ago i had severe trauma it struck me while driveing a car i was imobile for 5 days i couldnt move Never had a problem breathing though Can you tell me more about what you know the doctors in my town know nothing about this :(:(
  • omg i have the same thing]= im only 15 and ive had it already for 7 months. if you know anything that helps can you tell me? costochondritis hurts me sooo bad. i get it everyday, and theres nothing really i can do about it!

  • @revebunnyx3 I've had it for over a year now. What will help me with pain is a heating pad but that will make it more swollen. I dont know if yours is swollen but mine is.. Also if yours is swollen try taking turmeric. It helps pretty good

  • :P Ew.

  • I would like to defend myself for not posting a video. I didn't just forget about it. I actually forgot that it was monday :| No joke. I thought it was tuesday.

Ugh! You're lucky your lockdown drill was in band! Mine was in cooking and we had to sit under the tables on the floor which had bits of banana all over it. :S EW
