i played that one once, the acoustic tone was loud and extremely percussive. the pickups are good, altough they arent exactly what i love. but with duncans this is a badass guitar, and it's is a fender with 22 FRETS!!!!! means that it can even be played!!! can recommend it to anyone searching for an allround guitar with classic styling

@MidnightStrum Yes and No, The Pickups on the guitar are quite low output for humbuckers. So if you upgrade the Pickups to something chunkier, you have a great metal guitar. Think John 5 with manson tones. (And heavier if you want)

@linfylionel999 well, if you must have Active PUPs, EMGs would be the way to go. I just think they lack bottom end. I'm a rhythm player, and exactly the tone I want is the tone I need (I use bareknuckle PUPs, they rawk. I have one that is 1.6 times heavier than an EMG, plus it is passive. (ALSO, a good passive PUP that sounds active is the new seymour duncan Gug G. set. even if you dislike him. they are good PUPs)

@linfylionel999 The Fender has a 25.5 inch scale, and an Alder or Ash body. The Epiphone has a 24 3/4 scale and a mahogany body. Gibsons (Epiphones are a branch of Gibson) are typically easier to play because of their shorter necks, but real men play Fenders (ex. Jim Root.) (I like Gibsons, and Fenders. But i Generally dont like Epi Les Pauls or SGs.)

Bisher fand ich die Schmidt/Session Videos immer ziemlich gut. Kann aber einfach nicht verstehen, wie man eine solche Gitarre mit einem solchen 80'er Jahre Scheissverstärker testen kann. Da klingt doch alles nach metal Axt. Außerdem kann der Typ anscheinend keinen einzigen geraden Satz sprechen.

Frage mich auch,was die Kommentare bzgl. des Könnes sollen. Hier gehts doch nicht darum sich einen runterzuholen, sondern das Instrument zu testen.

@klausrauh Sorry, aber ich versteh nicht worauf du hinauswillst. Er erklärt meiner Meinung nach (und laut so ziemlich allen anderen Leuten, die sich die Videos ansehen) sehr gut, wofür die Gitarre zu gebrauchen ist, wie sie klingt, zeigt Clean, Crunch und Highgain-Sounds (die der Amp gut mitmacht) vor und kann offensichtlich gut spielen.

Ist ja nicht so, dass er Abermillionen von Noten in ner Sekunde raushaut und rum-sweept wie Hölle, er spielt schon so, wie man auf der Gitarre spielen würde.

Anscheinend sind diese Feinde erst seit ein paar Tagen (wenn überhaupt) aus der Pubertät.

Mein Punkt war, dass das trotz der Humbucker immer noch eine Vintage Gitarre ist und man die nicht mit so einem 80'er Jahre Schredder Amp testen soll.

Wie mans besser macht, sieht man z.B. beim Test des gleichen Instruments hier bei pro guitar shop

joey mag zwar halbwegs sympathisch sein, aber der Großteil seiner Riffs in den Videos sind einfach nicht gut anzuhöhren. Beim Sound greift er oft daneben bzw. kommt es in den Videos so rüber. Und wenn man eben wie Oli öfters mal den selben Lick hört, dann soll dieser wenigstens nicht in den Ohren schmerzen sondern Ohrgasmen herbeiführen! Joey kann ja Effekte machen oder Starter kits haha
