i have a 84 300zx turbo, and i install a BOV in it, but didnt hear any boost or sound from BOV..can any one help?

It´s a 1984. The only model whith a scope for the T3, oil lubricated, air cooled turbo.
All others are oil lubricated, water cooled and don´t need a scope.
The 1986 model it´s the only one in 1st generation (84-86) whth wide fenders. All of 87-89 (2nd generation )models have wide fenders.

'85 Z31s have scoops too, but also have watercooled turbos. This car is also a NA, no NA had a hood scoop.

@castillobox2 you are wrong, the 84 and 85 turbos were the t3 garret and are in fact, oil and water cooled. i know because i own one and swapped the turbo on it myself.

Why not just buy the new 370z and forget the old school thats what am going to do.

this is a 1984. the '88 has a more rounded nose and yea wider fenders

Thats not an '88 300ZX, its an 84 or 85...'88 had a different nose, back end, and wider fenders.
