I like the Corrs version best closely followed by the original though it depends on my mood and the Adams version is undoubtedly the most somber. The tone of Tim McGraw's version is too upbeat for my tastes, but it comes down to personal choice. This isn't some ridiculous rap artist feud. Think of how many Motown songs were successfully remade by different artists. Rather than bitch about whose version is best, I would just like to see many more remakes of this song by various artists.

I like the original by Adams himself and I like the VH1 cover by the Corrs and Bono (better than the Live Aid and album versions by the same). The original has the more somber sound of the two, but the Irish flavor of the Corrs version has its own beauty. McGraw's version is way too twangy and packaged. If Bono could do a version about as somber and soft as Adams, then that would be a real treat.
