  • holy crap, that's damn right sci-fi like! awesome! :)

  • if that was a vacuum there would be no plasma because plasma is ionized gas.

  • @sprogdiklis

    No, it isn't.

  • ..hm, was the first vacuum not very good?

  • Power source?

  • @zker666

    First plasma: 2 MOT.

    Second purple plasma: pole transformer

  • that is some crazy shit. nice LOL

  • hehehe, good video, but i'll show you how it's done. btw my voice sounds really gay in the video.

  • That would make one strange decoration on a front porch late at night.

  • ima hav to get one of thos so i can make a lightsaber

  • tripy

  • There is 50mbar, smart one, you cant make perfect vacuum.

  • if u get a high enough vacuum u can make x rays

  • that plasma looks tasty

  • what temperature is the plasma

  • Some thousands of kelvin (about 5000K)

  • now all u got to do is steal the plans from the covenant from halo and u could make the plasma rifle :D

  • reminds me of starwars ep 1 pod racer

    and ghost Busters!!!

  • whoa dude..yea star wars with the pod racers...bring back childhood

  • IT looks like a plasma ball thing and a tesla coil...

    Whats so special about this???

  • 50mbar + 30kV transformer.

  • there is no such thing as a vacuum "arc". any electrons will just move through w/o any interaction. Ie invisible. that arc is leftover air. Look it up!

  • Yes, this is not in big vacum, there is approx. 50mbar.

  • Why don't you just lay down all the details in the description? Wouldn't it save you all the hassle?

  • OMG i love that sound in the beginner

  • What is the difference from a regular voltaic arc besides the vacuum?

    Look like regular vacuum tube?

    What is the difference?

  • In the first one i connected the output to a MOT (cyan plasma) Then the pole transformer produce the purple plasma.

  • nice

  • pleas seend me plans how to build this thnig......can you ?

  • This is just a glass tube, and in the tube is vacum (with a refrigerator compressor). Two aluminium electrodes, that placed in the glass tube have a high voltage connection output, that connected to a high voltage source (AC or DC is no matter).

  • Wath is it??

  • " 30kV plasma in vacum "

  • great work. does the plasma stress the glass much?

  • Yes, when the plasma touch the glass, it could be very hot.
