  • We were at Lava when this was shot. Pearce Rapid is impressive at 41K. 

  • and at about 0:33 whats the big splash on the far wall?

  • Having watched some footage of flash floods here on youtube, I'd guess that the bank was undercut, fell in, and created the splash.

  • @guaranic The splash was caused by the dirt wall falling into the water. This area was all under Lake Mead and is sediment.

  • the river has carved into the sand of the old lake bottom and walls continually collapse as they are undercut.

  • that looks scary
