It's very simple: people who fell in love with the blood stays on the blade EP at the time are very rarely going to accept and like this new direction. Old your demise was essentially a nega-straight edge hardcore band, however from 2010 onwards its a blend of positive pop punk and beatdown. Personally, I'm a fan of the latter and as someone whos been seeing them live since 06 and someone who claims edge, i just can't dig this. No hate, and best of luck to YD. - David kills it on this though!
