r these pop s the 409 rnd t's in the guitar!!?? am thinking on getting the classic limitted les paul w the 409 r and 409t ceramics in it!!! as these pops are the ones to have if own a les paul..
I got the same guitar aswell, and i will might start jamming in front of the camera, getting 10 likes on my opening vid before i do so. The guitars awesome BTW.
@Jonwsm can you please tell me which backing track you are useing, and what set up guitar rig native instruments or i rig thank you ,i love my ebony version great playing guitar
To johnywalkerize, no man u can't sorry, if you want the Boeing tie you need to get a straight custom, you can take the pick guard off ,though they do sell some without, and I know what u mean about slash lol, who wants to spend bookoo bucks on a guitar ,that's a sig model of a has been with a dumb ass hat. Anyways good luck hope u find your baby.happy new years.
U r awesome . U rock ! . I need a little help of yours . Could u tel me if i could get a regular gold top (not the classic one in your hand ) with custom headstock . If it is available with out pickgaurd (not slash sig). If so what what wil be the cost of guitar .
El Cerrito CA and saw this puppy, and in all honesty, to me it plays smother and sounds better than the standard, even though it has the classic 57s in them the sustain, do to the baked maple blows the rosewood away,it really does,I got a wine red one it has a very dark fretboard, shit u can't tell the difference to the rose wood its so dark,it came set so perfect,I am very very happy ,that after all these years of wanting a Gibson ,this one had just came out, phhh it was like a god send, I love
Sweeeeet guitar I have been playing epiphones all my life never being able to afford a Gibson, anyhow.,I saved and saved and saved, I had four grand in my pocket set on gettin a lp standard, I went to the guitar center in el Cerritos
To clear up some confusion, the maple boards DO change some of the sound. A bit more "bell" like IMO. They do sound wonderful tho. Suhr guitars have been using baked maple for years. Gibson is trying to continue production without the lacy act hindering their numbers. Personal experience though, they sound wonderful (as demonstrated in the vid). If you are wondering why some of these boards look darker, all you need is some lemon oil and they darken right up (play better too) it honestly feels
Dude, awesome playing..! Nice.. That is one beautiful LP. I was just looking at those online and instantly fell in love with the gold top. I have a couple Epi LP's but am seriously think about that gold top... Wow, nice.....
Very nice playing, and a badass looking guitar too! I'm wondering the same thing as 5150VanAlien though, how is the Burnt Maple fretboard in comparison to the usual rosewood or ebony boards? I suppose it's because of that federal raid on the Gibson factory a few months ago that they had to stop using certain woods. Haven't gotten to play one though. Thanks!
Congrats, lovely axe! Does the neck feel like a 50s or 60s? And does the baked maple fretboard feel/sound different? (i.e. brighter tone/better playability?)
Can you connect a guitar to PC using a big-to-small mic converter and through Guitar Rig?

Nice tone. Did you have to do any set up adjustments out of the box, or is the Guitar the factory setup right out of the box? Peace, Morgitr

Is this the baked maple neck? If so,what is your preference(if you have one) Baked Maple or Rosewood.

Sure looks purty with the gold top. I just wish it had a 50's neck.

@jakehorton486 The neck feels great, if a little dry at first. Thats usual for Gibson fingerboards and should improve with age.
Jonwsm 3 months ago
@jakehorton486 It feels more like ebony, and has more bite. I love it.

@5150VanAlien Its a 60`s neck. The fingerboard is like a cross between rosewood and ebony. Its different but excellent.
