  • @miregrc because aljazeraa is a fucking zionist and soros origined TV..in 100 years Turkey will grow as it was 400 years ago. they want to make turkey busy with its own borders and problems.Anbut it is useless because it allready starts..because USA will also have to support turanism to stop growing China and and make him alive and so they will be one of the superpowers but the ultimate one will be Turkey with unity of islam and turks(also europe will be islamic)..what is unstoppable

  • @ridakist61

Well. this is your dream. Of course, it is not gonna happen.

  • Why does Aljazeera case so much about secularism in Turkey? There is no developed theocratic country.

  • @miregrc Because Al Jazeera is Arab and cannot accept the existence of a Central Asian origin superpower that too after 800 years of ideological imprisonment of Turks under Islam. Your script when changed to Latin was most frowned upon by Muslims of Arabia because they couldn't use their religion to dominate you like before.

Think about it; you people were a great clan before Islam and proved many times. Be proud of your pre-Islamic origins: Turk identity.

    Regards from India.

  • @Saffronwing1 We will not let this Islamo-facist Shits rule over us.We will fight against islam in our government and we will fight for the secularism in our country!

  • @Turkishateist :). I am glad that you understand the importance of being against islamo-fascism. Look at Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Sudan, Somalia, etc. They are the examples of what happens when the above occurs.

Turkey today is what it is because of the teachings of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and I have high respect for him.

  • may allah cum on your diaperhead on arabic desert.. fucking islamist low life assholes..if you want islam go to saudi arabia to get your penis cut off..you fucking bitch..fucking beggars

  • military doesnt protect secularisation , military commander protect secularisation!!!! these anti islamist turks are non muslim, armenians, greeks, and some turks !!!

SOON TURKIYE WILL BECOME ISLAMIC REPUBLIC AGAIN!!

  • @Tugieboy

inchallah brother. is true that ataturk was a secret jew i red before?

  • better than being arab like you..soon you ll be sent to iran..and you cant come back to Turkey again

  • fuck allah and mohammed, violent dumbass

  • Long live the secular Turkish Republic! Secular we are, and secular we shall remain!

  • Let's look at stupid asses like Erdogan, Gul and his crew of assholes: He goes up to the EU and USA and says he is a conservative, he goes up to the Arab and Muslim world says he supports Muslim causes, when he is a hired puppet of Zionists to destroy and destablise Turkey.

Also Erdogan is letting imperalists exploit every thing in Turkey. Don't blame Kemalists for Turkeys mistakes, it's Erdogan the asshole who's trying to fuck Turkey up and bring Turkey back to the Ottoman era.

  • @PatrioticTuranist Wonderful reply. Ataturk is a true patriot. Respects from my country.

  • To all people who are yapping and insulting Kemalism, think about what your saying. Don't come up and compare Kemalism to Suharto's Indonesia, Musharraf's Pakistan, of Franco's Spain. Kemalist leadership was modern like the Shah's Iran, Ataturk had a vision of forming a developed modern country out of a empire that was totally bankrupt and he loved his country, he believed in equality, stability, soverignty and freedom for his own nation.

  • Turkish people are warm hearted people and nothing can divide them, there is no secular-anti secular war in the people in Turkey, only the medias are trying to divide us. Veiled or not Veiled, Turk or kurd, Modern or conservative, all Turkish people are Brothers and Sisters. " Turkey is One and can Never Be Divided" Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

  • Islam is like a disease. Nothing good can come of it. The sooner you get rid of them the better off you're going to be. Too many Islamist leads to misery.

  • Thats the same thing they said about you when you were born! your preaching to the choir you IDIOT, even Secular turks are Muslims...your the only one with a disease of HATE and PROPAGANDA!

  • You are rong.. aney religion is a disseas to many religios fanatics of aney religion lead to misery, islam is just particularly violent, but cristianty whase even more violent 500 years ago

  • who did deport all the Jewish people from Spain? was it the faith of islam or the faith of christianity? let me refresh your memory of second worl war..many many people mostly jewish were sent to gas rooms by Hitler who was definatelly christian...

every school shooter in america was white chiristian boy...so think before you accuse religions..

  • democracy never enough dont forget hitler came via democracy like in the ayetullahs İran but the real value is secularism for individual freedoms

  • Turks are a militarized society for 5000 years critisizing Atatürk for being a military dictator is not real.we lough to this.:))))

  • Yes, just like the Armenian masscres and the Ottoman empire, this backwards and unmodern militarisation must end if Turkey wants to become a modern EU nation.

You cannot be an EU member, and i will vote and looby all I can against it, until you become a modern democracy, with equal right for people, whether they want athiesm, Christianity or Islam. Unfortunately rights for the latter two are mvery limited.

  • LOLZZZ.

Kemalist-Nazis are getting upset. The people of Turkiye voted for the AKP.

Now even the leader of the Kemalist-Nazis in Turkiye, Deniz Baykal is speaking about friendship with Iraqi Kurds and television in Kurdish and Arabic.

LOLZZZ Kemalists-Nazis are working hard to destroy Turkiye, but Turkiye is getting stronger and stronger. LONG LIVE TURKIYE, LONG LIVE BBP.

  • You are wrong in so many ways.

  • We gain strength through unity in Islam. We show kindness for our brothers and ferocious against our enemies.

  • And you call that a peaceful religion?

Shame on you. Love your fellow human being regardless of religion or nationality.

  • Why do people always blame religion? On another side of the coin, one could argue about how much chaos, injustice, and bloodshed were rampant under the Secular regimes of USSR or China, but that would also be too simplistic.

  • I'm Turkish and you can be sure that no one likes the Youth Party, it didnt even get into parliment, it is a minority. Abdullah Gul won anyway, these secularists are WRONG! Democracy has nothing to do with secularism, in a real democracy you have a right to practice any religion you wish without interference. Secularism branches out from communism and we all know that government type can not stand on its own.

  • Yes the Islamists have won, so now time will tell what they will do. But religion and state are a bad mix. Look at the conditions in the Arab countries as an example..complete chaos, misgovernment and injustice. Is this the future you want for Turkey?

  • I live in the United Arab Emirates and i can tell you that its a Fantastic place to live. The GCC is developing so fast and is a great place to bring up your kids. I moved out of the UK for the peace and security. Funny thing is that the UAE are investing millions in Turkey.

  • Yes places like Dubai are great, but remember they do not emphasis strict religious attitudes there. They also have an abundance of wealth, which luckily for them they have managed to invest a good part of it in improving overall standards of material living. But where these 2 conditions do not exist the picture is quite different.

  • But my point is that religion and state does live together regardless of economic issues, an example: in Ramadam drinking and eating is forbidden in public. would you say that this was an extreme policy. Note only Abu Dhabi has oil wealth, Dubai,Sharjah, ajman and RAK doesn't.

  • End of the day people will vote for who is putting the buck in their pockets, whether islamist or secular comunists. As they say 'money talks and bullshit walks'

  • I agree bro. Islam has a 1000 year history in Europe and has contibuted great ideals which we take for granted today. Secularism is an oppressive movement based on intolorence.

  • The legacy of all religion in the history of Europe, and that of the world, has been fanaticism, war, strife, turmoil, irrationality, and anti-humanism. Secular humanism offers a way out of this. You want to consider true examples of religious societies think Afghanistan under the Taliban, Sudan under the Islamisists, Iran under the Ayatollahs, etc. Do you like this picture?

  • first of all, the taliban and such are extremists, and there are extremists in every society and religion, if you like secularism because you believe it will stop extremists, then you are dead wrong. IT will only increase the amount of extremists all over the middle east and europe. There is no possible way to ever fully seperate religion from state

  • sorry, i pressed post comment by accident =], but as i was saying, seperateing church from state is just impossible, I live in the U.S., which is supposed to be "the most democratic country on this earth", if all these countries like Turkey and France are putting secularism into effect because they think they are being democratic, then they are utterly mistaken, for if you look at the example they are following, religion is almost encouraged.

  • First amendment of the constitution says that all americans are entitled to the freedom of religion. Now isn't that a little confusing? because if Secularism is democratic, and America is the most democratic, then why the first amendment? you answer that.

  • First amendment of the constitution says that all americans are entitled to the freedom of religion. Now isn't that a little confusing? because if Secularism is democratic, and America is the most democratic, then why the first amendment? you answer that.

  • At the turn of the century when the european powers were carving up the islamic Empire, they encouraged the rise of the Pan Arab nationalist movements across the middle east, which proclaim to be secular, control, oppression and assisinations was the flavour of the month! Look at Gamal Abdel Nasser who turned out to be a CIA agent in the end. What a bloody mess!

  • "they want to extinguish Allah's light with their mouths, but allah will not allow except his light should be perfected even though the disbelievers hate it" Al Tauba 9:32. God Is Greatest. People of Turkey, who gives you the sovereignty to create your own laws?? Sovereignty belongs to ALLAH only, and we must be following his laws only !!! He gave us ISLAM which is perfect and isnt subject to any change ever !!! Islam is a way of life and will return!!!!

  • no matter who is in power, no matter what they want to do, remember this, ATATURK!!!!!!!!!! there is no way turkey will turn its back on its founding father. no way in hell.

  • Mustafa Kemal was a military thug, and has no way made Turkey. It was the blood of the muslim defenders of Turkey who died with Allah Akbar on their breaths and not Kemal.

  • if it wasnt for ataturk there wouldnt BE a turkey in egsistance today you dim witted mut! the ottoman government surrendered, our so called muslim brothers in the middle east stabbed us in the back, our former peoples turned against turks and the ottomans. it wasnt islam that saved turkey. it was ataturk.

  • Yes ok, So where do you go from here then. Kemal turned out to be a miltary dictaitor and made changes in step with his European masters. Mistakes were made and we have to learn by them. Never fight with, or for the disbelivers as the Quran clearly states,Islam was not wrong but its the people who applied it to fill their own desires.

  • Implementing democracy and secular education necessitated a big change in the society, which wasn't per se a "democratic process" in itself, but formed the strong pillars to have a sustainable democracy in the long term. Mustafa Kemal did not - as per your claim - have "European masters", of course, he was - and his legacy always is - the barrier against the plans of the colonial establishments of France and England in Turkey, whom never wish to see a modern democracy arise in Islam.

  • Had all the "Oriental" land been saved within Turkey (instead of only Anatolia and small European territory) and Atatürk's reforms implemented within this vast context, this new country would've been much more powerful then the Ottoman Empire itself, and of course then the Anglo-French nation-states. This they did not want because they wanted to replace the Turkish core state in Islam with weak puppet states that would represent their colonial interests long after they'd physically leave.

  • I am very glad that this guy won the election. It is time for Turkey look inside its true problems/minorities instead of immitating always the western cultures all the time.Turkey is a muslim and dictatorship country.Muslim always had great influence over people s lives. They hated christians 4 centures forcing westerners to change their faiths or loosing their kids!

  • i voted for AKP, but i dont have headscarf and i am not religious...

I voted for AKP because of the economic successes...

But i am not for sharia, i am for secular state...

And i know a lot of people who voted AKP and they also dont want to have sharia....

  • It is is about power not seculirism. No one in Turkey questions seculirism but they are against oppression. These are also the people that reject fundemantal rights to the Kurds.

  • I lived in Turkey for five years to understand these people's incentives. They for long have enjoyed the power. The reason why they turned violent is because the middle class wanta share of the power that they have enjoyed so far. Trust me, Turkey will remain secular even if it is run by Gul's covered wife. These people are just being beyond ridicilious.

  • LoL at the vice president of "youth" party, he's truly a grandpa :)

He says "having support of the majority is not important in democrasy". What a lame excuse for himself! He knows that they'll never have support of the majority and so he says that.

  • Turky is Islamic Steit ins Alla

    Bosnia islamic stet

  • democracy never enough dont forget hitler came via democracy the real value is secularism for individual freedoms

  • A religious culture will democratically elect a religious government. The secular forces in the country are by at odds with democracy, many of them are hoping for direct involvement on the part of the military, and many are also hoping for the re-entrenchment of a race-based republic rather than a religiously-based one. Neither of these options are terribly appealing.

  • monolithic organized Religion is never compatible with democracy, Pope Benedick "denounces secularism" I don't think I need to say anymore on him to get my point across.

  • Turkey is and will remain secular!

  • I don't think there is a problem in both way of government understanding but the behaviours must be corrected in a process of democracy. The democracy's problem is the timing of Islamic wearing as wearing a green hat and a green tie with a black suit.
