I love this. There's something funny about it, and to me Jason looks like he's enjoying himself. Nice jacket and shirt and he looks quite handsome here. Fucking excellent tune, even though it's the original by the sound of it. Never knew they did a TOTP performance, but I'm amused they did. First class.

This IS awful. Sad IMO. And believe you me, Jason WANTS to be there. He is a man capable of choices manager hangin over him or not... hey, it is a business. and I think Jason would like to live comfortably. I do... Its funny to watch the bands that dont even try to look like they're lip syncing. The Specials is one that pops in my head as fun, "Rudy" I think. If I wasn't a fan and saw this Im not sure Id buy the record.

My god, this is truely awful! Anyone who doubts, on the basis of this track, how good Spiritualized can be, I'd really recommend you listen to their first album, "Laser Guided Melodies", which is a sublime classic.

Is it just me or is the audio in this video, with the exception of the commentary at the beginning, from the studio version? I understand that sometimes singers mime to a pre-recorded track, but the music sounds identical too.

yeah thats standard for top of the pops. some bands play jokes with that, like members switch up who dont even sing the song. i think oasis did that or something
