I am in the airforce and I'm completely embarrassed Bc of how we have it. We do nothing but work and if we're deploye we get a flashlight, rape whistle, and radio. Everyone somebody thanks me I get a pit in my stomachs cuz I know who's out there on the frotlines and whoever the dumbass is who decides to talk shit on the other branches fuck you pussy. U couldnt handle half the shit they go through and most of them get paid more cuz of the hazard, deployment and sometimes special pay. All I do is
@ uploader the USAF DOES NOT HAVE EXCESSIVE MONEY THEY JUST KNOW HOW TO SPEND IT WISELY OTHER THAN WASTING IT COMPLETELY ON WEAPONS AND GRENADES.LOL :)
I guess this is one of the reasons why people tell me if I'm going to join the US Military, I should join the USAF. You get the best in everything. You get the best living space and the best food. And From what I hear and what I've seen (according to pay charts) The USAF pay the most out of every other branch in the Military. And once your in the Air Force, your treated very nicely by your officers and higher ranking instructors. And they don't have a lot of pressure on them.Sounds good to me.
@SKRIBBLE4ME no we just dont get ridiculous sign on and re-enlistment bonuses like the ARMY. That is why our living conditions are better. Many soldiers are sold by the bonuses so they should not complain about their living conditions. Where are the AF bonuses? Oh yeah that money went to our homes and living quarters.
Don't piss on the fortune of someone else because you don't have it. The Air Force is simply better at appropriating funds and they have a lot less people in there branch. Plus there jobs aren't to fight in combat. Its obvi that they are used to complete the mission of getting the aircraft in the sky to bomb the derka derkas shooting at Marines and Army. Unless you don't want that bomb saving your life stop bitching that you joined the Army son.
@AaL3XaNd3R09 exactly. Not to mention the AF sacrafices bonuses and quick promtions for the quality of life too. Many soldiers join for those big bonuses so dont complain when quality of life is not as good.
AF cares about their people ...especially the deployed ..... folks in combat zone .....we give them the best treatment that we can afford.....for who knows that might be their last ... ...our man and women who volunteer to protect this great country of ours ...they deserve the best treatment ........ the army , marines ... deserve better treatment...AF does not use MArine and Army funds ...each branch get its own... it is how they use it ... AF is not wasting tax payers money - taxpayers owe us
You know, when something went wrong with my barracks stateside and DPW didn't fix it i went to fucking Home Depot. This makes the Army look like it can't fix easy problems. You have mold? Get your command to buy a 5 gallon bucket of Killz and paint that shit. Broken toilet seat? $20 gets you a nice cushy one from HD. Shower curtain sucks? GO TO THE FUCKING PX AND BUY A NEW ONE FOR $4. HOLY SHIT, ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. And when DPW said I shouldn't have fixed stuff I told them to fuck off!
haha we all get the same money bro, just you guys have less requirements and bring in way more people, where as we even cut off recruiting for a little bit in some states. also wasn't that an r&r base the red horse were in the middle of developing? a bigger base set up for transport of POW/MIA and injured, and guys from all branches coming back from the front lines? half facts.
haha we all get the same money bro, just you guys have less requirements and bring in way more people, where as we even cut off recruiting for a little bit in some states. also wasnt that an r&r base the red horse were in the middle of developing? a bigger base set up for transport of pow/mia and injured, and guys from all branches coming back from the front lines? half facts.
Looks like you Army pukes need a union, or a command transfer to the Air Force. You want posh living, join the fleet submarine force... if you can handle it. I sure wouldn't want that duty. No pussy for thousands of miles for 3 to 6 months at a crack while living in a tube under tons of pressure.
Try not to judge The Horse based on one dude on youtube. The truth about Red Horse is they are considered special duty assignments, they spend a lot of time away from the normal USAF, and typically deployed over 200 days out of the year - even before 9/11. I can't tell you the number of times i came back to home station and realized every else in the AF had it easy and didn't even know it. No, you won't always see bullets flying, but you work like a slave doing heavy construction.
Oh and BTW, I've eaten Steak and Scallops at an Army chow hall while at Camp Humpries, ROK, while the AF chow hall at Osan cooked the same chicken 10 different ways, every damn day. Quality of life of one branch to another is often exaggerated i think. Although it was not lost on us in Engineering circles that the Army spends its money on equipment,. which we could appreciate. AF spends it on two things. Fancy jets (fighter mafia), and making the bases they park those fancy jets look pretty.
I don't judge anyone... But there is a guy named millerusaf here on youtube who has been running his big mouth about knowing combat for to long on here. The Guy made a video not to long ago, and in it he said: "This is how you win the Gunfight" when he made that comment he went to far... THIS GUY HAS NEVER EVEN BEEN IN A F#CKING GUNFIGHT! WHAT THE F#CK DOES HE KNOW ABOUT A GUNFIGHT!? HE SERVED IN A SAFE F#CKING F.O.B.! GUNFIGHT MY ASS!
@155Millimeter Yeah, ive seen one of his video's just not the one your referring too. I can appreciate his enthusiasm and loyalty to The Horse, but...well, lets just say I won't talk bad about a fellow horseman in public, regardless if I agree with what he's saying or not. I've been on Permanent Civilian Status for over a decade now, so it's not my place to call BS or not. All i'm doing, is sticking up for The Horse. That's ALL i care about..
THAT'S @millerusaf 's unit!? We slept in animal stalls in the middle of afghanistan. Where's his brandy new F250? I'm so glad I mess with him at every chance I get. Thanks for showing me this.
When this Fobbit miller comes on his channel putting up a video, and in that video he tells his subs "This is how you win the gunfight" then I have got to step in on this Fobbit...
I don't consider that I ever did anything special over there, but when this @sshole is coming on youtube telling his subscribers "This is how you win the Gunfight" That is going to far, for my morals. I consider that "Riding on the coat tails of Veterans who have been put in harms way" And he has not...
Korea is pretty much a standard deployment for any U.S. Army Tanker, Red Leg, Grunt, or medic. If you stay active duty long enough eventually you will come down on orders to PCS to Korea. I never went, I never wanted to go. LOL!
I think if anything I would have rather liked to go to Germany. I never went there either, but Germany is also a standard PCS that you will eventually come down on orders for. Both Korea and Germany are pretty much non-hostile on our side military base.
@handgunlover this is all true, Air Force lives large, they got a huge budget. The again, the 101st had nice barracks, at least the 327th INF did, but on any kind of mission, a big GP Large tent was considered like fucking HOTEL, I spent most nights only getting a few hours of broken sleep and sleeping on wet or frozen ground, I was lucky to be able to pitch a poncho hooch or get into a sleeping bag. Infanty doesnt play. especially the old 506 in Korea DMZ, that was the worst.
@155Millimeter hardcore Infantry like the 506 is Ranger style, shelter halfs were left back in basic, we used a poncho strung up in the trees using bunjee cord. Sleeping bags werent allowed unless it got down to -10F due to security reasons on the DMZ, Pussy pads were allowed sometimes when in the defense. Mostly we slept in poly-pro underclothes, gortex pants and bottoms, arctic boots like Matterhorns, balaklava masks and gortex gloves, just on the ground in the snow, we moved all the time.
Yeah it's pretty much a standard PCS deployment for all Tankers, Red Legs, grunts, and medics!
If you stay active duty long enough, you are pretty much guaranteed to see a tour in Korea. I never went, and didn't care to go.
If you never used your shelter halves past basic, then you must not have deployed to many places. We used our shelter halves constantly, Several times at NTC, and also the Mountains, you pretty much have to have shelter up there or you will die.
@155Millimeter I deployed to Korea, Sinai Egypt and a couple of stateside training centers. My first field problem was "Team Spirit" Korea, the annual winter time mobilization of US and ROK forces.. its last 65 days in the dead of winter. I did it in one uniform and no shower. Infantry just does not use shelter halves, they are untactical in Infantry operations. We slept in camoflaged poncho hooches in a defensive layout. wanna see my photos?
LOL! Dude I don't know what you are trying to prove? But sorry man... I'm from the older Army, Gulf War 1 era, and I hate to tell you this but Infantry puts their BDU's on one leg at a time just like Tanker, Red Leg, Medic, ect.
Sorry but I could care less if you used a shelter half... And no matter how hard you try, you are not going to ever prove to me that Infantry is this somehow unstoppable supreme being tougher than all! Go tell this to a 71 lima, he will believe you...
@155Millimeter I joined to actaully GO to that 1st Gulf, but Korea had to be re enforced.. so we were part of the same mission. I got my National Defense Medal but didnt get my CIB. Lately there is a movement right now to give CIBs to Infantry who were on the DMZ during the Gulf War. I may still get one. hahah
@155Millimeter we had shelter halves but they took up too much room and were redundant..so we just made our own in the field. you gotta remember that we carried everything we had in our rucksacks. the ruck was our home. sleeping bags were on and off. only during cold weather. we had hight security levels anyway.. were never went below 50-50 security so only half of us slept at any one time anyway.. and you cant get out of your fart sack fast enough if you get hit.
@155Millimeter the place is fucking extreme. Its either a mountian or a rice paddy, its either arctic cold or boiling tropical heat, then the monsoon season comes in and it rains for months. The place is absolutely hostile to human life if youre exposed to it for weeks on end. In the days I was there, the whole chain of command is totally paranoid and they got you jumping out of your own asshole 24-7. We would get 24hr pass maybe once a month. I lived on the fucking Z.. good memories, though. ha
This is literally no bullshit dude. This is the way that the U.S. Army lives, and while AirForce eats fucking steak and shrimp in their mess halls. I have seen this shit with my own damn eyes. I did not put thid video just to bust millers balls, I want everyone to see the truth about how the Army, and marines lives, and why they are so beat the hell up when they leave the military.
