William Orbit took Samual Barbers (Barber's Adagio for Strings) and released it on his Pieces in a Modern Style"" album and in 1999, Ferry Corsten made the remix of this track.
Orbits was 'never' the original yet was the version that introduced the classic to a new generation...
I think its a bit harsh to say Tiesto ruined this (for starters Tiestos version is more 'liked' and more popular). Its like saying William Orbit ruined the Original.. He didn't, he turned a classical song into a song that is enjoyed by the new generation, who end up listening to the original and enjoying that too. Tiesto did exactly the same and I'm sure someone will do it to Tiesto's version in the future.
