What the fuck are you talking about? Some of the greatest Byzantine emperors were Armenians! Leo Isauros, John Tzimiskes, Nikephorous Phokas, and all the 'Macedonian' dynasty, including Basil II. And it was Byzantium that destroyed Armenia opening thus the way for Seljuk encroachment in A. Minor. I do not know about relations between Armenia and Georgia, but armenia played huge role in Byz. history and shouldn't be underestimated.

It's obvious that Cretan, Georgian and Pontian music are related to eachother. Still strange though that other parts of Greece have quit different music and the island of Crete is so far away from the black sea. Maybe because there were settlers or exchange of population and culture in the past? What I know is that I like Cretan Pentozalis dance, Khorumi dance, and Pontian/Turkish/Laz Horon. I would like to go to Batumi & Tblisi for your music and monastries.
