sooo nice lol i hope it jsut ets better and better and hopefully ur not the type to put lambo doors and a bunch of bullshit to ruin ur car lol supras are love <3
@KiLLaGoRRiLa74 Thanks man, the car right now has changed a lot. I am in need of posting a new video badly, but no I am not into body kits or lambo doors haha. I am taking the Supra down for tuning today and hopefully I can have a new video by the end of next week.
yea dude i found a supra on craigslist for 3750 and it has 8-10 under the hood and all it needs is a clutch and it pushes 20-22 psi of boost and 450 whp now thats a street car lol
hey thanks but i got a question is there really a difference of the motor or anything different between the older model supra compared to the newer supras like comparing a 1991 supra and comparing a 1997 supra
@slipknot12390 The 1991 Supra is the MK III generation (1986-1992) which runs a 7MGTE, 7MGE or 1JZGTE (in Japan). There are also a couple of other JDM motors they came with. The 1993-1998 Supras use a 2JZGE or 2JZGTE. All of these motors can be built to be very quick. Personally I prefer the 2JZGTE which could be dropped into a MK III. The motors all have difference is turbos or lack of turbos, manifolds, injectors and etc. I say your best bet is using the MK IV 2JZGTE.
@SupraHKS96 ok cool ty for the help i hope to get one of these 1 day but to start off i might get the 7mgte to start off with because its gona be my first car so yea nothin to special but to be very quick but yea thank you for the advice though i appreaciate it
@slipknot12390 Anytime and good luck. I hope you do get one someday. This past weekend I saw a 7MGTE in a MK III make over 1k rwhp. So just know that you can get a lot of power from even the older motors.
@MrOpoooooooooooooooo No the MK IV Supra only comes with the 2JZGE and 2JZGTE. The motor I currently have is the 2JZGTE. The only Supra to offer the 1JZ motor was the MK III. As far as the cost, I prefer not to think about it myself lol
@slipknot12390 I don't see any reason why someone couldn't own one. Mainly it just takes a lot of patience and saving. I hope to comment on your Supra vids one day lol
@slipknot12390 That is the blow off valve. I am not sure how familiar you are with turbo cars but basically it is just a pressure release valve that lets air blow throw once you stop giving the car throttle. The sound you hear is the result of that pressurized air releasing. That particular blow off valve or (bov) for short is called the "HKS SSQV". Look at other people's youtube vids of it and you will hear it on other cars as well. Hope that answers your question.
i love your car, man, i hope to do one of these one day... ive always liked how the supra reminds me of a smile... :D
