Brooklyn was the best season by far. Not because of the fact that it was in my hometown but because we got to meet 8 crazy awesome people and one of them is protecting our country now. aww you made me cry :( Real World: Brooklyn was my favorite season, great friendships were grown, fun times, sad times, i will never forget the time when u told the room-mates and started crying because I cried to. your so brave, I live in canada, but it doesnt mean I dont see you as a hero, I see you as a great person and one heck of a hero :)

Brooklyn was the best season by far. Not because of the fact that it was in my hometown but because we got to meet 8 crazy awesome people and one of them is protecting our country now. I feel safe knowing that you are there defending us in Iraq. You will be back one day safe and sound. When you come back, you will be an awesome writer, director, singer, whatever you set out to do, you will be the best at.

Ryan, you are unlucky that you had to report for active duty (again), you are VERY lucky to have friends that care a ton about you :) Especially Scott, Chet, and Baya :) Real World: Brooklyn, is my favourite season of the Real World, just because of the friendships, fun, arguments, jokes, and whatever else you can put in there, that it had. I don't think there will ever be another one like it, and without you, or the rest of the cast, it wouldnt have been the same. Come home safe

ryan my prayers go to you. i respect so much of what you do for our country. my teachers husband is going back to afghanistan in november but the last time he was there he brought back pictures. it show how brudle it really is and how little they have. they also look up to us soilders so much good luck ryan with everything you do

Next time you hear "blood & treasure" mentioned as the sacrifices we have given as a country to this effort, then Ryan is the face you should be reminded of.
Thomas Paine wrote of "summer soldiers and sunshine patriots;" yet this War still does not garner daily news coverage or more than a cursory interest.
More's the pity.
Thanks to YT and Bunim-Murray productions for what is a contemporaneous record of an expensive futile effort, I think.

i got outta the marine corps n came back in around the same time u got recalled.i served in iraq n im headed 2 afghan soon. from marine infanty 0311 to army infantry b11, thanx 4 ur participation in the iraq afghan vets thing. not many people remember that we r still @ war n guys like us r still fightin' in them.

Ryan, I want to thank you for your service to our country! You are doing what most of us are too scared to do and for that I admire your strength and bravery. My dad fought over there in the early 90's so I know first hand how hard it is to be away from the people you love. Keep smiling and remember no matter how tough it may be over there, there are people praying for you over here!!
