I love Matt Smith but Oh My God, I miss David Tennant as Ten so much. I definitely shed more than a tear when he left, and watching this made me miss him even more.

@Sn1cK3Rs1 Torchwood takes place in America for season 4. Not Doctor Who. Matt Smith is quite different, but you have to try and see. There is some very beautiful episodes in the new seasons.

David Tennant was a really great Doctor, but as he said, his episode were kind of sad. Even though I recognize David's brilliance, I still Think Matt Smith makes the best Doctor ever :D
I don't know, Matt is good, but you can't see the emotion on his face so much. You can't see his sad moments....it seems he can only smile or look bored...David, now David can do any emotion. David can be mad :D

I love David Tennant and I think he was absolutely perfect as the doctor. He was my doctor and the first I saw. But that doesn't mean that Matt isn't doing a wonderful job! I think he is a great doctor, different from Tennant but in a good way. So please stop complaining about Matt because honestly, who could have done a better job replacing Tennant than him? ^^
I'm sure Matt Smith is doing a capable job as a doctor but... I just can't seem to get over the his face ^^' But actually, I stopped watching Doctor Who after Journey's End... and I'm still too depressed by the lack of Donna Noble to just keep on watching...
I loved David Tennant in the role, but I also adore Matt Smith. He has really taken the Doctor to new dimensions. Very quirky. Going to the edge of so many emotions without being too much. He is a very gifted actor. You just can't help going with him wherever he goes. He fills a screen very well. What a great show. The only one I make an appointment to see and I am glad to see it still doing so well. The writing is excellent and so is the acting by all parties. I love it all.

Every regeneration is supossed to be different and the new person is different. I think Matt as the Doctor was the most important because all of the things going on with the Silence and such and how pretty much the wotld was falling apart in the 11th form. So he's not that bad of an actor. He's BRILLIANT!

@Reptoniar this was filmed back in 2009, it refers to David's regen sequence where he becomes Matt. There is no way in Galifrey that 3 years ago they would have been filming scenes for the 2012 series

I am extremely proud of him for not being stuck up and instead enjoying what Matt Smith has done with his role as Doctor Who. I really like both of them but, Doctor 11 was my first, so he will always have a special place in my heart of course. :)
I have got used to Matt as the Doctor and believe he is doing a credible job. I loved David's incarnation but things change. Every actor has brought a new dimension to the role which makes the character of the Doctor so versatile and interesting - and breathes new life into it too!
@Wat3rDragon I totally agree i loved all 3 and all 3 bought something new and exciting to the show. My only issue with the current series are some of the plots are ridiculous and i just feel that if they went back to the more action packed way they were before then you could relive all those emotions that come with that genre. Thats not to say i don't like the scientific ideas behind some of the new episodes but c'mon cars floating under balloons? A base in the pyramids with a steam train in it?

All the doctors are great and mad in their own way. Christopher was a little off the wall, David was almost always running around like had five Red Bulls, and Matt is awkward, and more Aspergian. I haven't seen the others in action, so I can't comment on them yet.
@Djinnmeister The 11th IS brilliant, and the stories are good, they just aren't... fun. There's very little of that 'discovery for the fun of discovery' like the 10th was so good at. It makes him a little hard to love.

Much respect for Tennant being a huge fellow fan of the show but who cares. Tom Baker was/is better than both of 'em! Even Tennant would admit that there will probably never be anyone who will portray the role of The Doc as good as Tom Baker did.
