@Sn1cK3Rs1 Torchwood takes place in America for season 4. Not Doctor Who. Matt Smith is quite different, but you have to try and see. There is some very beautiful episodes in the new seasons.

I love David Tennant and I think he was absolutely perfect as the doctor. He was my doctor and the first I saw. But that doesn't mean that Matt isn't doing a wonderful job! I think he is a great doctor, different from Tennant but in a good way. So please stop complaining about Matt because honestly, who could have done a better job replacing Tennant than him? ^^

I loved David Tennant in the role, but I also adore Matt Smith. He has really taken the Doctor to new dimensions. Very quirky. Going to the edge of so many emotions without being too much. He is a very gifted actor. You just can't help going with him wherever he goes. He fills a screen very well. What a great show. The only one I make an appointment to see and I am glad to see it still doing so well. The writing is excellent and so is the acting by all parties. I love it all.

Every regeneration is supossed to be different and the new person is different. I think Matt as the Doctor was the most important because all of the things going on with the Silence and such and how pretty much the wotld was falling apart in the 11th form. So he's not that bad of an actor. He's BRILLIANT!

My only issue with the current series are some of the plots are ridiculous and i just feel that if they went back to the more action packed way they were before then you could relive all those emotions that come with that genre. Thats not to say i don't like the scientific ideas behind some of the new episodes but c'mon cars floating under balloons? A base in the pyramids with a steam train in it?

All the doctors are great and mad in their own way. Christopher was a little off the wall, David was almost always running around like had five Red Bulls, and Matt is awkward, and more Aspergian. I haven't seen the others in action, so I can't comment on them yet.
