there is a path keeping going up and there is a tower saying no siwmming my there was a way to get down there way back then and my grandma and here friends did and they were playing untill they herd the sound that means get out my grandma did not get out in time and allmost died :P that would not be good
did you know that theres another sealed tunnel just north of the black railway bridge? It was used for a road way( Warrner road)and then crossed under the rail line just west of the bridge.I,ve hike this aera since I was 10,when all the weirs had water in them and you could see all the tunnels and cannels. Did you know there's a poppers grave that can only be found in winter when there's no water? Have fun and expolre.
It is NO WHERE near where it should be if you were on the West End and walked across, because of the curve, it looks like it s nothing but it is way far away, you have to walk through alot of thick forest to get there. I am going back this week.
@edge102102 i had trouble finiding one with the door at first but then it was easy>>me and my girlfriend searched for hours looking for this one that is wide open..i tryed to follow how the curve was and stuff and make sence of it , but no luck..could u tell me breifly where it is..i was just there yesterday so its still fresh in my head every possible way. thanks
@VtecWhore I was there in the summer twice, once on thew West side which is the easy part to get to.
The second time I found the East side and got pics on my facebook. but you have to cross over the 3rd canal to access it. Either the Homer Bridge (thats the way I took) or the Pumphouse (Building that says "When siren sounds beware of large waves" which is the harder route because you need to climb up alot of rocks and if you slip and fall you will drop into the shallow canal.
But the homer bridge is the easier part. Once you cross it, turn right and stay along the canal, there are 2 locks that have collapsed (considering the canals havent been used in several decades) once you see the fork in the canal and the split you are standing almost above the Blue ghost tunnel.
From there you need to veer left and walk through thick forest and trees, but if you come on the right side of it, you will see a dried up ravine that leads to the 'flooded' side!

It seriously can't be described, even by map. It is one of those places that need to be guided. I can take you there for $20.
