Where do you put the ashes of the paper? My first reaction was to just flush it down the toilet but I thought maybe that would be disrespectful to the spirits you called upon or somehow make the spell not as useful. So I just threw the ashes in the garden...

@alynabrown I could go on for a good paragraph about what wicca is, and all the little nuts and bolts that make up their belief system but, all I can say is that wicca is not satanic because they don't believe in "Satan". It all comes down to your own personal beliefs really; it can practically be whatever you want it to be. The goal of casting spells is simply to manipulate the energies of the Earth toward your favor. But that's just one person's opinion coming from what I've read.

Anything really. The idea with Wicca, not to stereotype, but these are just general spells. Meaning its like candle magic. A symbolic colored burned draws things to you. The idea is here to. This spell is suppose to be an "all purpose" spell.

Depends on your views and what tradition you follow and what you are raised to believe. I was taught magic has no bounds but it must follow the rules and laws in this universe. Try and read a few books or some online sources there are great sources out there who can probably explain magic a bit better than I can. This kind of magic shifts probability into your favor. The spell you saw here could be black, depending on what you wish for. But, good-hearted people (such as youself) would probably wish for things such as prosperity or good luck. The intentions of the spell determine whether it is "black" or not.

I think one should be sceptical of claims that you can get what you want by wishing it. Many monotheistic religions, like Christianity, use a similar carrot - and, much the same if said promise doesn't materialise then they have a get-out clause. What if my "need" is extravagant because I have extravagant needs (like magic psychic powers)? Well then I am out of luck because I needed to start with "small things" in order to make the magic work since I need to believe it can work before it is even allowed to work. Therefore, because I have "extravagant needs" magic will never work for me. However, if you do not have such extravagant needs (like magical psychic powers) then Wicca will be the right religion for you (though ineffective).

I think one should be sceptical of claims that you can get what you want by wishing it. Many monotheistic religions, like Christianity, use a similar carrot - and, much the same if said promise doesn't materialise then they have a get-out clause. OK, it's not diagnostic of nonsense but it is suspicious.

i dont like the bad energy in the comments. They are hateful, and im pretty sure in any religion, hate is wrong. I am a wiccan, and i have to say it helps me find peace. I am so much better, richer and happier a person since i started practicing it. I enjoy the freedoms, and how it brings help, but i think anything people choose to do, as long as they are happy with it, is not wrong. I accept you for whatever you are. I believe in the underlying message in the bible and his word that we should all treat others kindly and equal. That we shouldn't do negative things like killing, hating on each other, abuse ourselves etc. I also believe that there is god in everyone of us, but i think of it more as a divine force not a specific deity.

Personally, I went to this video to see if Wiccanism was falsifiable, and it is. We can test this "spell" and prove that it does not work. Hence, it's falsifiable.

I'm glad that you've tested this and formed an opinion about it, even if it's different than my own. However, what lilathepenguin was pointing out is that saying mean things doesn't do any good for anyone. People have freedom of speech, but it doesn't mean they'll get taken seriously or liked for what they say; we do have the right to judge.

What if my "need" is extravagant because I have extravagant needs (like magic psychic powers)? Well then I am out of luck because I needed to start with "small things" in order to make the magic work since I need to believe it can work before it is even allowed to work. Therefore, because I have "extravagant needs" magic will never work for me. However, if you do not have such extravagant needs (like magical psychic powers) then Wicca will be the right religion for you (though ineffective).
