With practice, I think that any player in a rec league can get proficient at making a subtle fade away with 10-12 feet. In fact, that type of shot is pretty fundamnetall ysound and is good for shorter post players to create space for a close in jumper and as a way to set up an up and under move.

The ability of MJ to hit those 20 footers, where he falls on his back side is one of those things that almost no one will ever be able to come close to duplicating.
