omg!! shufflepuck was the first game i ever played (a lot!)! I was like 5 years old then, holy shit this takes me back!! :D proud to have played the real classics!
The mac, I remember it fondly. It had a awesome flight sim on it that I'd play constantly. It was my first computer (Well, technically it was my grandfathers. XD) and I miss the old days.
Does anybody remember what the football game was for Mac? It had all the nfl teams and you could choose run or pass plays or special teams plays and it showed a football and a field and the ball would go up and down the field depending on what was happening?
@slomacuser You should have slowed the thing down, especially for Shufflepuck Cafe. Shufflepuck/Air Hockey (without the Cafe) are even worse, especially when played on a faster emulator or a 266MHz G3 running in Os9...
YES!! I miss our old Mac Plus 512K! We had Arkanoid, and Pinball Construction Set, among others. Awesome graphics and sound! It used the same microprocessor as the Sega Genesis.
does anybody remember vette! or glider. thoese were great games. i played them when i was like 5 yrs old. i still have a lot of old mac games on cds or disketes. does anyone know how i can play them on windows? oh and is there any site i can upload those old games so that everyone can enjoy them??

Actually I think it was better Mac than Pc in that time. Today Mac is just for people that think spending 500$ extra in a computer to use word, powerpoint and excel is cool and creative.
I suggest you take a look at what Microsoft had available at the time. MS machines were either MS-DOS or Windows 3.1. Mac had a functional desktop that's fundamentally similar to their modern layout. Microsoft was struggling to give graphics native OS support.
I still think Amiga was still ahead of the curve. At least Amiga had color and better sound. Macs are cool though. I actually am using a 2008 mac now and loving it!
I've played Grand Prix Circuit on an old IBM 386 PC under MS-DOS the DOS version used the computer's internal PC Speaker, the computer didn't even have a sound card, and I don't know if the game even supported a sound card, so you can well imagine what the game sounded like. Do any of you remember Mouse Practice for the mac? it's a shame it's not still included with newer Macintosh models.
i can just barely remember playing shuffle puck ...a long time ago on my gs ... i would always make the paddle size 100 and the big guy would say wimp if you lost ... am i right???
now this is really far back b/b i am 15 right now and i think it was a gs i don't really know
wolfenstien 3d was also fun ... die nazi's die haha ... i think that now i was 4-5 back then
Wow, commercial games in black and white. I've played some b&w shareware games, but by the time i got my first Mac, all the commercial games were in color. Looks strange seeing them. kind of like the first b&w TV sets, I guess.

Macs came a long way, I can see why people preferred PCs back then though, Amiga still kicks ass compared to both systems back in the 1980s.
