i think the only problem is that it lacks passion... that the real pride and prejudice has in abundance... because even is she most of the time hate him i think she is still attracted to him and thats the main point in the novel, that their love was so strong and so much more powerful then his pride and her prejudice

There is no reason for Elizabeth to freak out; it is perfectly normal that a first-time novelist's novel has to be greatly revised; of course it cannot be published the way it is. Well, but then, for the sake of storytelling, it's fine. ;)

Elizabeth in this is okay and the Dracy is good. That's the only reason I'm this far in. The acting otherwise and everything else is painful. Not bad enough to be hilarous and def not good enough to be enjoyable. I'm just holding out for the romantic parts and hope Darcy pulls through! :)

Because it's a low-budget film made by Mormons. It's meant to pretty much cater to a Mormon audience who will get all the inside jokes in here. It's not meant to be some blockbuster with incredible acting and a nice wardrobe. It's meant to be cute, quirky, and funny, which it is.
