  • Does anyone know if you can use hardware inputs or outputs with LabView?

  • @GyuJazz Absolutely! Hardware integration and control was what LabVIEW was built for 25 years ago. I would like to figure out what you are doing so I can best help you. Please post your question to ni dot com slash forums (there is a LabVIEW forum) and I'll be able to have a longer conversation with you there.

  • 3 people can't use LabView

  • He is handsome.

  • Where is tutorial 4?

  • nice

  • Hey does anyone know how to make the box around the controls in the front panel? because he makes them independent and I can seem to do that..I was able to make a while loop in the block diagram..idkif that clears anything up...

  • @AlexzUTubestuff They're in the decorations section.

  • can sb please help me? i'm trying to make a program that searchs for the letter "e" in a text, then counts how many "e's" it found. I found the icon showing the length of the string, but still can't manage how to do my program :( is there another icon i might use to do it? i just need help with the strings icons, pleeeeease! and btw thanx for the tutorials

  • @andysr33 Use the "replace and search string" function in the sting palette. Make sure that "replace all?" is set to true and your count will be in number of replacements.

  • @coolnesy

you know, in labview you can use the Help menu, Help>>>Show Context Help, or press Ctrl+H

after that you just go with your mouse over the loop, then a window will appears with an explanation of it.

    good luck

  • @coolnesy

"for loop" you use it when you know how many times you want that loop runs (confuse?)

"while loop" the loop will stop when the loop condition is not true

  • whats the difference between te while loop and the for loop?

  • can someone help me out? im trying to create a guitar tuner via labview and am having trouble getting a gauge to output a range of frequency..... im splitting the signal from my FFT to a waveform graph and gauge but must be leaving out something between my FFT and gauge... i just can't figure it out to save my life.

  • @deathbysockpuppets Not sure what your problem is. Could you be more specific?

  • there is some wiring problem in add and conditional loop

  • Boolean control? In my view point is only a ON/OFF switch....anyway

  • Boolean means true or false, so yeah it's a on/off switch.

  • what's that boolean stop button?

why there's an error 50103 occurred when i tried to operate two while loop simoutaneously?
