  • finn tugwell not even just "barely legal" service. It is straight up 100% a hidden arm serve. The ball crosses the table and then his arm leaves. How is he NOT called on that?

  • Welll.. not the top players. Too much easy mistakes

  • i miss the speed glue

  • this damn grunting...

    god it's annoying

  • Great upload, tugwell is a good player but he lacks sportsmanship..

    Amazing upload btw!!

  • @TableTennisDaily Yes, it sounds like speed glue or something.

  • @Topspinify There's VOC free glue and tuners, they were selling them commercially for a while. The companies dealt with the phony excuse of VOC's being harmful with making speed glue that was VOC free, so the ITTF had to change the rules again to say what they really meant, no altering/speed gluing.

  • @Opalance Ok, so this means everybody can cheat, no one will get you?

  • @Topspinify Well think about it, how many people get caught cheating? 3 or 4 a year, and that's from getting sloppy in their pre-testing or some aberration in their tuning process.

Now how many people are tuning oin some way still? Virtually all of them, I mean look at those guys who do get caught or get a warning when one of their rackets fail, you think they don't tune the rest, or the rest of the time and don't get caught? Most of the time it's from thickness, not VOC's that catches them.

  • @Topspinify No, tuner and speed glue makes the sponge expand as the glue soaks into the sponge. Tuning 101

  • @Opalance Thank you; yes, but it still creates a layer in the sponge because when something is soaking into naturalbased material it is providing a layer to it.

  • @Topspinify It's not really a layer, a layer is when there's glue buildup from regluing the same rubber, which pros dont do, they just grab a new sheet and put it on there. The sponge, sponges up the glue and it soaks into the whole sponge, expanding it and soaking into it, but it evaporates after a little while.
