Refreshing! I was always irritated by the naiv way of western well educated people who were grabbing every particle which seems to be spirituell and enlightened because their own (western) religions are running out of answers and are simply corrupt to their core. Everything that is somehow far east, ancient or native and might pop your brains out is swallowed, altered and welcome in the "spirituell" supermarket.

I have Neil Whitehead's book on this subject. Very intriguing and intense. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in Shamanism or Anthropology in general.

People don't like this subject, darkness is a no no. Humanity cannot cope with the reality that dark energies exist which they cannot see. Having experienced shammanic rituals I can say evan if the shaman is a loving and caring person he has the powerto wound, infect or even kill.

When I asked about this matter he said 'It is my nature to protect myself, poeple can be very dark and evil without knowing it.

@0102106kls You should read this book and listen to the full interview, rather than just the Youtube excerpt. In fact, the conclusion is that our political system has these same machinations. But really, it's quite disgraceful this neo-shamanism that people follow rather than trying to understand and get down to the truth of these cultures. There's no reason to immediately jump in with the slippery slope fallacy. More anciently, anything different was used for that reason, with any peoples.

there already planing a war in south america so they can take the land the silver the oil and emrald's. there's more silver in that rainforest then any where else in the history of this planet that's why the spanish came. they killed over 200 millon people over raw materials and it's still going on those, rich european banker's are doing these studies to get the people behind them to start this war there evil and corrupt.

why can't you just leave these people alone they share my blood ,i have every right to try to protect them. leave these people alone, how much of the profit's from this book do they get, it only help's one side it's can only hurt and desttroy one side. you can't record there image's because if you do so it steal's a little of there soul that's what they beleave so how do you get picture's how do you get sound. even the bible say's not to make greaven images leave my people alone .
