  • 3:20 best face :D

  • on ebay? i cant find it there. got the link?

  • Any updates on the translation for this game? I've always wanted to play it in english.

  • Just browsed around inside the ISO file myself and I saw too that the script for the game is just out in the open! :) I don't suppose it would be as easy as just changing those files (though one could hope anyway :)), but still pretty cool. I saw a font binary image (dunno what opens that) too, maybe replace that too? Anyway, seems a promising translation project if someone could get past the software part.

  • wow I had this game on pc many years ago. cool!

  • Awesome!! Its like the classic Alone In The Dark thx for posting this

  • bump

  • where can i buy this? i didnt found it on ebay.

  • It's on Ebay now.

  • Can't believe I used to think this was A-MAY_ZIIINNGG.

  • Its made by Riverhillsoft, the smae guys who made "Overblood" for the PS1......you can certainly see a lot of simularities :)

  • Thanks !

Could you put on Youtube an entire Walkthrough of this game one day ?

  • Might do. Just finding time. It's not a long game, and that would be quite nice wouldn't it? Although I run Linux now and adding my video capture card has been something of a challenge!

  • i know now why 3do did lose the 32 bit console war. Most of 3do games did never uses all potential of the machine, and the few ones that did it were so far of the most primitive games for playstation or n64. Anyway, its fun to see how technology changes

  • i never overed this game...

  • i had a 3DO and never even heard of this one

  • I like the music. Chih Chih Chih....

  • I don't know. I'm one of those people who never see frame rate issues. (seriously, there are two types of folk. Those that do and those that don't!) I seem to remember setting the video grabber at 25FPS - so maybe that's it.

  • yeah it was especially easy back then to ignore frame rate because so many CD-based games were slow. the very new 3D graphics made up for it.

  • best framerate ever

or was it you recording or something?

  • why so?

  • The game looks terrible.

  • simple 1994 kid, maybe if you know at least a little about games you would know what I'm talking about. thats great and powerfull graphics lol!

  • Its not just the graphics, if you look carefully you can tell how nasty that frame-rate is running. Not to mention, after seeing Need For Speed and Road Rash, we know the 3DO is capable of much more.

  • They might not be the best the 3DO is capable of, but they're solid and neatly crafted IMO. Same goes for the decent BGM and SFX.

  • I"m sure if more Third party developers supported the 3do someone would have pushed the machine to its limits.

  • Yeah, I agree totally. They were certainly on their way too with games like Starblade and Need For Speed. If only it wasn't such an expensive machine...

  • OF COURSE YOU CAN DIE! =D

you could fall into a hole or be killed by a big stone or get shot by a arrow x.x~

    hahaa i looved dr. hauzer!

  • look at that frame rate

    smooooooth! haha

    this game looks really familiar

was it out for anyother systems?

  • It's a bit of a rip-off of Alone in the Dark and a pre-cursor to Resident Evil, but it was a 3DO exclusive!

  • @3dokid

No, this game is not a rip-off, no more than Silent Hill is to Resident Evil. Doctor Hauser was certainly influenced by Alone in the Dark, but added plenty of its own innovations, like the fully 3D backdrops, a complete lack of combat, and a unique "you versus the house" theme.

  • Why the hell is everything so slow ?

  • because i didn't press "B". OR WAS IT "A"?

  • cool, there are the sound fx from friday the 13th in it^^

  • wow that looks sweet I have a 3DO for old times sake but I never saw this game.

  • I love this game I still own it

  • He can run. It's like Resident EVil in that respect. Normal walking is slow, hold down the run button and things fly along at much healthier pace.

  • Oh man, I wanted this game so badly! It totally blew my mind away back in the day that you could walk around, real-time, in a 3D environment and interact with it. Totally awesome. I never did get the game though... oh well.

  • 3do only I'm affraid.

  • Was this game ported to any other systems? Or is it 3DO only?

  • Kids, thats 3DO power. This game was a revolution, although Ive never played it. It was released on 04/29/94 by Riverhill Software. Someday Im gonna buy it. Thanks for the video, 3DOKid.

  • He can run - when I remembered the button to press. You will notice I bow every so often - that's me trying to make him run. A bitlike Resident Evil in that respect!

  • He seems to move kinda slow.
