@gethsemane123 Hi there , this is to you but evryone whom asks this question. Why only the chorus? Actually in the studio there WAS a full song recorded , but , it was a management decision to "keep it simple"for the sake of the whole cd. Seeing as there were already 2 gospel songs on there , they probably didnt want the cd to come across as preachy but still convey the power of the song and thats why they chhose simply to focus on the chorus.Many ppl have been blessed just by its simpleness

I don't understand why Ms. Boyle would only sing the chorus and not the rest of it. This is one of my favorite hymns, and while her rendition of the chorus is wonderful, it's too bad the rest of the song is missing.
