@oopartuk plus you can't turn the V8 'cause of the lubrication... btw. the moped-style exhaust (reso-pipe) is one of the most important parts on a really powerful 2-stroke - totally agree; it's SICK

@purpleGoAhead Actually, it's commonly referred to as an expansion-chamber. As seen on two-stroke motorcycles. Those on racing bikes have different parameters (pipe sizes & lengths, chamber diam & length, cone angle) and no muffling, of course.
