You are right, it is not legal to print money. The United States was founded on the principle of printing it's own money. It all started with the 1690 Colonial Note. Colonists created their own money and declared it's independence from England. Nothing is different in our times.

Factories have traditionally kept lots of unskilled people in work, teaching them an activity they can do to provide for themselves.
Now globalisation has crushed our factories and skill-less people have nowhere to go!
They will always be people with poor intelligence and these people have in the past been employed in hard but repetative tasks.

The paper you need to do that effectively is really expensive and unless its a big operation I suggest it is a waste of time.
Furthermore, it is not legal and therefore I do not condone it.
