I know, crazy right? When I heard about this I was definitely on board to go. China is still not completely open to this kind of stuff though, because Martin Smith said they had a shorter concert list than usual. Apparently some of the songs weren't approved by the government, haha...
hey!! thanks for posting this video. We were so excited to hear they were here in China. We were too far to go see them though. Do you have any more videos???
Wow! How long ago was this... I knew China was getting more "open", but allowing a "Christian Concert" in Beijing? Wow!

haha yeah! I was there too, and I think MOST of the songs were censored hence the short concert...
But it was still a magical concert! I had non-Christian friends who went, and the censored-ness really helped to enjoy the concert more :D
God's got a plan :)

Martin Smith the singer wrote a blog about this. He said: "We had to submit 25 songs to the Chinese government for approval and they
only approved 9! All songs with Jesus and revolution were taken out so we
set ourselves the task of playing a revised set!"

LOL! No wonder it was such a short gig.
And they repeated songs too haha!
But it was a fun fun concert to be at :D
Ahhh memories...
