Is this mare a first time mother?? She does a lot of sudden movements and moving around? I didn't know if they were like some first calf heifers and wondering what the heck it is that is so wobbly??

Foal hasn't even nursed yet, and here she is to try to put halter on mare??.. Umm... to take her into her stall? When this colt was born so naturally out in the sweet grass, AWAY from people?
They really could have used a bit more time to bond and for the colt to have nursed for first time; without HUMANS barging in!. Why can't people EVER leave well enough alone?

@Living2bLoved in the video description it says the video was taken 90 minutes after birth. Could the colt have nursed in that time? I agree with everything else though. That they could've had more bonding time.
your mare is extremely good tempered to let you so close so soon. And considering that you went up to the foal, touched it and ha a head coller. Very good natured horse. Very beautiful and very cute <3
I always feel so protective and concerned for baby animals. It's like everything wants to eat them and they're so vulnerable. Lucky for this little guy he'll be safe and protected with his mom on the horse farm.
